3 Overview Capabilities: The room is equipped with the following Sources available: PC w/takenote Software Laptop DVD VCR Document Camera 3 of 14

4 Control System - Touch Panel Logo Page: The touch panel will be blank when the system is powered down. To activate or turn the control panel on, simply touch the blank screen. The first page you will see will be the Welcome page. Touch the page to advance to the Main Source selection page. (At this point the projectors will power up and the system will be temporarily disabled (30 to 60 seconds) while the system warms up.) 4 of 14

5 Main Sources From this page you will have the following sources available: o PC o Laptop o DVD o VHS o Doc Cam o PC TakeNote Always present in the lower right corner of the page is the System Off button. Select this button to completely shut the system down. 5 of 14

6 PC When you select the PC button, the following screen will appear. There are no additional controls on the screen, use the PC to control the output To control volume, if applicable, use the Program Volume Up/Down/Mute buttons to adjust the volume accordingly. To select another source simply select the source button from the left of this screen. Always present in the lower right corner of the page is the System Off button. Select this button to completely shut the system down. 6 of 14

7 Laptop When you select the Laptops button, the following screen will appear. There are no additional controls on the screen, use the Laptop to control the output To control volume, if applicable, use the Program Volume Up/Down/Mute buttons to adjust the volume accordingly. To select another source simply select the source button from the left of this screen. Always present in the lower right corner of the page is the System Off button. Select this button to completely shut the system down. 7 of 14

8 DVD: When you select the DVD button, the following screen will appear. The buttons on this screen are a graphical representation of the buttons found on a typical DVD remote and act as such. Simply insert the Disc to be played and select the button. To go backwards in the current chapter, select the button and so on. Once you have finished watching a video, select the button, eject the DVD from the unit and then select another source In addition you will see the DVD Menu button. Select this button to view the DVD s menu options. Use the up/down, left/ right arrow buttons to navigate through the menu options. To control volume, if applicable, use the Program Volume Up/Down/Mute buttons to adjust the volume accordingly. To select another source simply select the source button from the left of this screen. Always present in the lower right corner of the page is the System Off button. Select this button to completely shut the system down. 8 of 14

9 VHS: When you select the VHS Play button from the menu, the following screen will appear. The buttons on this screen are a graphical representation of the buttons found on a typical VCR remote and act as such. Simply insert the tape to be played and select the button. To rewind, select the button and so on. Once you have finished watching a video, select the button, eject the tape from the unit and then select another source. To control volume, if applicable, use the Program Volume Up/Down/Mute buttons to adjust the volume accordingly. To select another source simply select the source button from the left of this screen. Always present in the lower right corner of the page is the System Off button. Select this button to completely shut the system down. 9 of 14

10 Doc Cam: When you select the Doc Cam button from the menu, the following screen will appear. There are no additional controls on the screen, use the Document Camera to control the output To select another source simply select the source button from the left of this screen. Always present in the lower right corner of the page is the System Off button. Select this button to completely shut the system down. 10 of 14

11 PC TakeNote When you select the PC TakeNote button, the following screen will appear. The TakeNote software resides on the PC and allows you to view the PC and make annotations directly onto the Touch Panel for display on the projector. In addition, you have the ability to save your annotations back to the pc as basically a screen shot of the display and annotation. The buttons on the lower portion of the screen are one touch buttons for basic screen/mouse commands. To return to the touch panel main pages, select the Exit button in the lower left corner of the screen. 11 of 14

12 Projector Controls When you select the Projector Controls button, the following screen will appear. From here you have ability to manually power On/Off the Left and Right projector. In addition, you can mute the image output by selecting the Image Mute button. o *This button does not power down the projector. Be sure to completely shut the system down at the end of each session to ensure maximum lamp life. To select another source simply select the source button from the left of this screen, or, to exit the Projector Controls and return to the previous screen, select the Exit button. Always present in the lower right corner of the page is the System Off button. Select this button to completely shut the system down. 12 of 14

13 Powering Down The System: As I have mentioned various times throughout this document, shut the system down by selecting the System Off button in the lower right corner of the screen. This will bring you to the Are You Sure confirmation page. Select Yes to complete this task. Select No if you wish to return to the Main Source screen. 13 of 14
