2 Getting started with the app Welcome to the J.P. Morgan Insights app, a new way for you to access and customise our intellectual capital. This user guide explains some of the app s most popular and powerful functions. We encourage you to use these simple step-by-step instructions to become more familiar with the app and the many benefits it can bring to you. Learn more about... 3 Getting started with the app In order to access the full range of content, users must complete the registration process as outlined below. The app s functionality to create and share custom versions of our Guide to the Markets will only be available to users who have registered. How to download The J.P. Morgan Insights app is available on the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Connect your device to wifi and search J.P. Morgan Insights to find it there or visit for direct links. System requirements Android tablet running.0. or later; ipad running ios 7. or later. Registering as a new user (external) Only registered users get access to the app s full functionality, including the ability to create and share custom versions of our Guide to the Markets. To get started, touch the Register button after launching the app. You will be prompted to complete the fields (first name, last name, firm, address). Please ensure to enter your work address so that we can correctly identify you as an institutional user. Your password will automatically be sent to the address provided. Forgotten password In order to update your password you must be logged in. From the settings tab, under Summary, select change password. You will be prompted to enter your old password, create a new password and confirm the new password. Your password must have at least 8 characters and should include at least uppercase character, lowercase character and number. (A-Z, a-z, 0-9) Logging in (internal J.P. Morgan user) Download the app from either the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or the JPMC App Store. Once installed, open the app and touch the Log In button. Sign in with your SSO details. Internal J.P. Morgan users do not need to complete the registration progress. J.P. Morgan asset management

5 How to save and favourite content Virtually anything on the Insights app can be saved in My Favourites or custom folders. All content features this same context bar at the top of the screen. Tap the screen to turn it on and off. Saving items in My Favourites folder Touch when viewing the item you want to save. Saving items in a custom folder Touch when viewing the item you want to save. A screen similar to the one below appears. Drag the item to the appropriate folder. Tip: ADDING MULTIPLE ITEMS TO A CUSTOM FOLDER Rather than use the function for each individual item, you can quickly save them as favourites with the touch of the icon. Then, go to My Favourites, touch the Edit button and drag all the desired items into your custom folder. Note: While in edit mode, you can drag-and-drop items (except custom PDFs) between any two folders, including from one custom folder to another. J.P. Morgan asset management

6 Guide to the Markets section Filmstrip view 6 access a slide s detail page Simply touch the slide when it s highlighted in filmstrip view. You can toggle between slide view and detail view at the top. 8 The app features an interactive Guide to the Markets that allows you to save and share your favorite slides in custom presentations. 7 Main page Access the Guide by touching the large banner or orange arrow. Swipe horizontally to view Portfolio Discussions focused on specific investment or market themes. View additional resources that leverage our Guide slides and strategists insights. Navigating the Guide Swipe horizontally through the entire Guide; or Use the tabs to jump to a certain section. 6 Touch to quickly save a slide in My Favourites folder. 7 Hear audio commentary for the highlighted slide. 8 View talking points for the highlighted slide. 6 J.P. 7 Viewing slide details Toggle between Detail view (see right) and Slide view (see below). Tap the talking points to expand; tap again to collapse. In this mode, you can pinch and zoom to make the image even larger. 8 Managing your folders Tip: Save frequently used, regularly updated materials once Items saved in My Favourites and custom folders are refreshed whenever newer versions become available. Examples include: Guide to the Markets slides each quarter Quarterly Perspectives Portfolio Discussions featuring select slides from the Guide Note: Items in custom PDF presentations are not refreshed. The app s folders make it easy to save, organise and update the information you find most valuable. Creating new custom folders Touch MY COLLECTIONS in the upper-left corner of most app screens to get started. Touch the New folder icon. Touch the folder labelled New folder. Touch the Edit button to rename the folder. Tap the name of the folder to bring up the keyboard. You can change the name from New folder to whatever you wish. Touch Done when finished. 8 J.P. 9 Accessing and editing existing folders Touch MY COLLECTIONS in the upper-left corner of most app screens to get started. Touch any folder in the left margin to view its contents. Saved items are automatically organised into four categories: Guide to the Markets slides Custom PDF presentations Insights (videos, bulletins, podcasts, etc.) Products Touch the Edit button to rename the folder, rearrange items (hold and drag) or delete items (tap the X). Touch Done when finished editing. certain items or an entire folder. Present items saved in a folder directly on your device. Touch any item to bring it up on screen when not in Edit mode. Deleting and copying folders 6 In the left margin, press and hold the folder you wish to delete or copy. 7 Select Delete or Create a copy. 10 Creating custom presentations Create your own custom versions of our Guide to the Markets to tailor your presentations. Touch the folder containing the slides you want in your presentation. Touch the icon labelled Build a PDF from selected Guide slides. Touch the circle to the left of each slide to include it (green checkmark) or exclude it (no checkmark). Hold and drag the gripper to rearrange the order of slides. Touch Create when finished. Your presentation will be added to the Custom PDF presentations category of the folder. The app automatically adds a title page and relevant disclaimers. After creating a presentation, you can it or present directly from your device. 0 J.P. MORGAN INSIGHTS APP

11 Search function To start a search, touch the app screens. 12 Investment Themes and Asset Classes The section offers one-stop access to J.P. Morgan Asset Management s extensive library of market bulletins, videos, commentaries and other multimedia resources. Swipe horizontally to review and read our featured insights. Content is conveniently organised into two broad categories: Investment Themes Asset Classes Swipe horizontally to see all sub-topics within each category. Selecting a sub-topic brings up a new page featuring two primary insights. Swipe horizontally to access other insights related to the sub-topic. 13 Products section Information about J.P. Morgan Asset Management funds is updated daily to provide you with the very latest pricing and performance. Search by fund name or ISIN, or use the filters for more tailored results. Touch any fund name to pull up more detail. Filter by the fund s share class. Use the tabs to explore the fund s performance and access associated documents (factsheets, reports and full prospectus). J.P. Morgan asset management

14 Settings section Touch here to log out of the app. Unless selected, you remain logged in even after exiting the app. Customise s sent from the app with pre-populated Cc and Bcc fields. Touch the Cc field to bring up the keyboard and enter addresses to include with every . Or leave this field blank and decide who to copy on each individual . If selecting this option, any addresses for the Bcc field must be entered here one time and will then be included in every sent. J.P. MORGAN INSIGHTS APP

15 Institutional settings This section provides details of how you can ensure you are accessing institutional content. To view institutional specific content, select the Settings tab from the menu bar. A pop up will appear for Region Settings. Tap the current role. Under Role select Institutional/Consultant Your region settings should reflect the new selections. Tap Done to complete. J.P. Morgan asset management
