Set the user name, mobile number, SMS verification code, and password. Select I have read and agreed to Privacy Statement and HUAWEI CLOUD Customer Agreement. Click Register. 7 1 Account Info NOTE A verification code is required upon three consecutive incorrect password attempts. ----End 1.3 Resetting a Password Procedure If you forget the password during the login, you can reset the password. Step 1 Step 2 Log in to the HUAWEI CLOUD homepage. On the upper right corner of the page, click Log In. The login page is displayed. Step 3 Step 4 On the Domain Login tab, click Forgot Password in the lower right corner. In the Confirm Account dialog box, set the address bound to the account and click Next. 9 1 Account Info 1.5 Viewing and Modifying Account Information Procedure Accounts contain true information about individuals or enterprises and are used for logging in to My Account. Users' orders and fees are associated with their accounts. Step 1 Step 2 Go to the Account Info page. View and modify the account information. Basic information a. Click Edit next to a desired field to open the information modification page. The following uses an address as an example to describe how to modify basic information. b. 10 1 Account Info Service information You can select your industry. If the industry you select has a secondary industry, you are required to select a secondary one. Contact information You can view the user type, full name, position, and address. If the user type is Enterprise, the authenticated account belongs to an enterprise. Individual real-name authentication applies to individual users. (After the real-name authentication, students need to complete the student authentication.) Enterprise real-name authentication applies to enterprises, individual businesses, and all kinds of organizations. The user type determines the account ownership. For example, individual users cannot request special value-added tax (VAT) invoices. If enterprise users choose individual real-time authentication, they may have trouble using the account or have economic losses when the account owner changes, the account is in arrears, or the account ownership is in disputes. 13 2.2.1 Individual Real-Name Authentication Process Individual real-name authentication includes individual band card authentication and individual certificate authentication. Individual bank card authentication is recommended because of its easy operations and short time required Individual Bank Card Authentication Process Procedure Individual users can use bank cards to perform real-name authentication by entering their bank card information. Personal debit cards and credit cards are supported. Individual users can enter bank card information for real-name authentication. Step 1 Access the RealName Auth page and choose Individual. 14 Step 3 Enter bank card information as prompted. Step 4 Click Submit for Review. The system displays a message indicating that the authentication is successful. NOTE ----End If the authentication fails, re-enter the bank card information according to the error prompt Important Notes for Individual Bank Card Authentication The individual name, ID card number, bank card number and the mobile phone number bound to the bank card must be matched. If you use a card issued by the Bank of Communications, Beijing Bank, Bank of Shanghai, Guangdong Development Bank, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, or Ping An Bank to perform real-name authentication, you need to subscribe to UnionPay online payment for the card first. 15 Besides errors prompted by the system, bank card authentication failure is usually caused by the following: The cardholder name and cardholder's ID card number do not match. The individual name and the cardholder name do not match. The bank card number and reserved mobile phone number do not match. In this case, you are advised to go to the bank counter to check whether the mobile phone number bound to the bank card is consistent with the entered number Individual Certificate Authentication Process Procedure Individual users can use the following personal certificates to perform the real-name authentication: ID card, passport, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, or overseas driver license. The following uses the ID card for authentication as an example. The procedures for authentication using other certificate types are the same. Step 1 Access the RealName Auth page and choose Individual. Step 2 Choose Individual Certificate Authentication (ID/Passport/Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents/Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents/ Overseas Driver Licenses). 16 NOTE If the certificate type is set to Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, you only need to enter the first nine digits of the certificate number. Step 4 Click Submit certification. The review progress page is displayed. NOTE ----End After the information is submitted, if a problem is found during this process, HUAWEI CLOUD will send you an SMS text message for re-authentication Important Notes for Individual Certificate Authentication The ID or passport must be valid. The ID or passport photos must be clearly visible. The name and ID or passport number must be consistent with the information in the photo. The information in the front view of the ID or passport holder must be clearly visible. The holder of the ID or passport must be bareheaded, with all facial features visible. The supported photo file formats include JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, and PDF. A file to be uploaded must be smaller than 10 MB. 17 An ID or passport number can be used for authenticating three accounts. 2.3 Enterprise Real-name Authentication Enterprise Real-Name Authentication Process Enterprise real-name authentication includes enterprise certificate authentication and business account authentication. The process is as follows: For details about authentication with business accounts, see here. For details about authentication with enterprise certificates, see here. Business account authentication is recommended because of its easy operations and short time required Business Account Authentication Process Procedure During business account authentication, you are required to provide a business account number of your enterprise. Money will be transferred to the provided account, along with a six-character verification code in transfer remarks. When you correctly enter a valid verification code, the authentication completes. Step 1 Access the Real Name Authentication page and choose Enterprise. Step 2 Choose Business Account Authentication. Issue 01 ( ) Copyright Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. 13

19 After the information is submitted, HUAWEI CLOUD will transfer 0.01 to the business account, with a verification code in transfer remarks. The money is expected to arrive in 30 minutes to 3 working days. You will be notified by SMS message when the money arrives. Step 6 After you receive the money and the SMS message, access the Real Name Authentication page. Enter the six-character verification code, and click Submit certification. If the verification you entered is valid and correct, the authentication completes. You can click Cancel to terminate the authentication process and perform the business account authentication again or use other modes to perform the real-name authentication. ----End Important Notes for Business Account Authentication When entering the enterprise name, you need to enter the full name of the enterprise. The business bank account name must be the full name of the enterprise. Otherwise, HUAWEI CLOUD cannot transfer money to this account. After a user successfully submits an application for the real-name authentication of a business bank account, HUAWEI CLOUD will transfer 0.01 to the account of the enterprise user, and the system will automatically generate a verification code which contains six digits. The verification code is saved in the remarks of the transaction record. Bank account authentication mode can be used up to 3 times. After the authentication fails for three times, you can use the enterprise certificate authentication mode to perform the real-name authentication. 20 2.3.4 Enterprise Certificate Authentication Process Procedure Enterprise certificate authentication requires enterprise information. The authentication completes when the submitted information is approved. Step 1 Access the RealName Auth page and choose Enterprise. Step 2 Select Enterprise Certificate Authentication. 21 The following information is required for an Authorized person role. An authorized enterprise user must obtain the authorization letter template from the photo upload page and the template as required, and then upload the authorization letter with the official seal of the enterprise stamped. 22 Step 4 Click Submit certification. The review progress page is displayed. NOTE ----End The authentication review is expected to finish in three working days. The authentication completes immediately after the submitted information is approved Important Notes for Enterprise Certificate Authentication The enterprise name entered must be consistent with the name on the certificate. The photos must be clearly visible. An authorization letter with official seal is required if the ID of the enterprise legal entity is not provided. These special characters are not allowed in the file name: \/:*?"<>; A certificate number can be used for authenticating six accounts Processing Method When a Unified Social Credit Code Is Not Available The enterprise certificate authentication requires that you provide the unified social credit code of your enterprise. If your enterprise does not have a Three in One or Five in One certificate, which means a unified social credit code is not available, you can fill in the certificate number according to the table below and upload the scanned copies of enterprise certificates. 24 2.4.1 Individual Real-Name Re-Authentication Process An individual user can re-perform the real-name authentication to change to another individual user or an enterprise user. The process is as follows: For details about changing to another individual user, click here. For details about changing to an enterprise user, click here. NOTE Before the real-name authentication change takes effect (is approved), the original real-name authentication information is still valid. Between the time when you submit the real-name authentication change request and the time when the change takes effect (is approved), the new outstanding amount and the newly purchased resources belong to the new entity. Between the time when you submit the real-name authentication change request and the time when the change is rejected, the new outstanding amount and the newly purchased resources belong to the original entity Changing to Another Individual User Important Notes Procedure If an individual user re-performs the real-name authentication to change to another individual user, the user needs to fill in the application form and upload the certified materials used for the last authentication and materials used for the new authentication. The user account cannot be in arrears if the user wants to change to another individual user. If the user account is in arrears, top up the account as prompted. The certificates of an individual user to be changed to support the following types: ID card, passport, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, or overseas driver license. Both parties need to sign on the application form and upload the certified materials and new materials to be certified as prompted. For the certified materials, it is optional to upload the invoices, remittance proofs, or payment record screenshots. The more materials you upload, the easier for you to pass the authentication. If you use the personal bank card to perform the last authentication, the ID card must be inc.luded in the certified materials and be uploaded. Step 1 Access the Real Name Authentication page and click here in the upper part of the page. The system displays a message, asking you to confirm the re-authentication. 31 NOTE Before the real-name authentication change takes effect (is approved), the original real-name authentication information is still valid. Between the time when you submit the real-name authentication change request and the time when the change takes effect (is approved), the new outstanding amount and the newly purchased resources belong to the new entity. If an enterprise user re-performs the real-name authentication to change the company entity, the user needs to fill in the application form and upload the certified materials used for the last authentication and materials used for the new authentication. The user account cannot be in arrears if the user wants to change the company entity. If the user account is in arrears, top up the account as prompted. You need to stamp on the application form with the seals of both enterprise parties and upload the certified materials and new materials to be certified as prompted. Step 1 Access the Real Name Authentication page and click here in the upper part of the page. The system displays a message, asking you to confirm the re-authentication. Step 2 Step 3 Click OK. Access the RealName Auth page and choose Company entity. Step 4 Fill in the new enterprise information and upload the certified materials used for the last authentication and materials used for the new authentication. If an enterprise user reperforms the real-name authentication to change the company name, the user needs to fill in the application form, enter the new enterprise information, and upload required materials for the authentication. Important Notes Procedure The user account cannot be in arrears if the user wants to change the company name. If the user account is in arrears, top up the account as prompted. You must stamp on the application form with the seal of the enterprise, enter the new enterprise information, and upload the materials used for the new authentication. The change immediately takes effect after the submitted information is approved. 2.6 Student Authentication Student Authentication Process Procedure After passing individual real-name authentication, a user can apply for student authentication. Users who have passed the student authentication can enjoy support policies and promotion activities provided by HUAWEI CLOUD. Step 1 Step 2 Access the Student Auth page. The authentication completes immediately after the submitted information is approved Important Notes for Student Authentication You need to pass individual real-name authentication before applying for student authentication. Only individual users can apply for student authentication. To ensure that you pass the student authentication, check that the information you fill in is consistent with the information on the CHSI website ( Once you are found cheating, or buying/selling the student certification preferences, HUAWEI CLOUD will have the right to revoke the preferences and stop issuing coupons, and will reserve the right to take further legal actions. 37 The student card must contain the following information: your name, your photo, birth date, school name, major, year of enrollment, year of graduation (or length of schooling, effective time), and must be stamped with the school seal. If the current time has exceeded the certified graduation time, the student authentication information will become invalid and the user will no longer enjoy corresponding preferences. The student card files uploaded to HUAWEI CLOUD can be in.jpg,.bmp,.png,.gif, or.pdf format. The maximum allowed size of a single file is 4 MB and the maximum allowed length is 100 characters (including the file name extension). A file name cannot contain the special characters \/:*?"<>; Student Real-Name Re-Authentication Important Notes Procedure After a student submits a second real-name authentication request, the original student authentication information will become invalid. The student authentication result is subject to the new real-name authentication. Each identity card can be used by only one user for student authentication. Student authentication information can be changed for more than one time. When a user performs student real-name re-authentication, the last student authentication information is displayed on the authentication page. The user can directly modify the student real-name authentication information and submit it for re-authentication. Step 1 Go to Student Auth and click here on the upper part of the page. 38 Step 3 Click Submit to go to the pending review page. ----End NOTE The real-name authentication review will complete in 3 working days. The change will take effect immediately after the authentication request is approved. 2.7 FAQs 1. Can I change the user name for logging in to HUAWEI CLOUD? Can I de-register a registered mobile phone number and perform re-application? The user name for logging in to HUAWEI CLOUD cannot be modified. The registered mobile phone number cannot be deregistered but can be modified to another number. For details, see section Viewing and Modifying Account Information. 2. What are the impacts if I do not perform real-name authentication? User Type Individual Impacts You are not allowed to purchase Huawei products and services. You are not allowed to use existing cloud service resources. You are not allowed to apply for issuing invoices. You are not allowed to apply for online contracts. 39 User Type Enterprise Impacts You are not allowed to purchase Huawei products and services. You are not allowed to use existing cloud service resources. You are not allowed to apply for a partner of Huawei. You are not allowed to apply for issuing invoices. You are not allowed to apply for online contracts. You are not allowed to apply for open beta test (OBT). 3. Does the user type for real-name authentication affect the type of cloud resources that I can purchase? Real-name authentication includes individual authentication and enterprise authentication. After customers have associated with partners, they can obtain certain preferences from the partners and enjoy the preferences when purchasing products from the partners. Precautions A customer can be associated with only one partner. When a HUAWEI CLOUD account has a balance and the account has a top-up reward amount, the customer needs to contact the HUAWEI CLOUD customer service to withdraw the money before associating with a partner. When a HUAWEI CLOUD account has a balance and the outstanding invoice amount is greater than 2000 RMB, the customer needs to return the invoices before associating with a partner in Advance Payment mode. When a HUAWEI CLOUD account has a balance and the outstanding invoice amount is equal to or less than 2000 RMB, the customer can transfer the balance to the partner's member account.
