4 4 TextMap App for ipad Release Notes TextMap App for ipad v1.0 Overview Version 1.0 The TextMap App for ipad Release Notes provide a list of new features, resolved issues, and current issues for the version 1.0 release. The current issues may be addressed in an update or other future release of the TextMap App for ipad. Resolved Issues Version January 16, 2014 Version November 15, 2013 Version October 22, 2013 Version September 26, 2013 Version August 6, 2013 Version - June 21, 2013 Current Issues Version - June 21, 2013 Resolved Issues 1.6 The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for ipad version 1.6 released January 16, 2014: Importing a larger case file would sometimes time out, using up storage space on the ipad If the import process for a larger case file timed out, causing the app to crash, the app used storage space that was only reclaimed when deleting the app.

5 TextMap App for ipad v The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for ipad version 1.5 released November 15, 2013: Importing new updates from the ipad failed after deleting a case from the ipad and reimporting it Deleting a case from the ipad and re-importing it caused the ipad case to be out of sync with the desktop case. When the user tried to import new annotations and issues sent from the ipad, TextMap indicated the updates had already been imported. 1.4 The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for ipad version 1.4 released October 22, 2013: App did not launch on ipad running ios 5. App did not launch due to a change made in version 1.3. The app should now work on ios 5. and later. 1.3 The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for ipad version 1.3 released September 26, 2013: Importing a case caused errors to occur for each transcript on ios 7 Resolved an issue where the app displayed error messages while importing a case. The transcripts were still imported. This issue only occurred on ios 7.

6 6 TextMap App for ipad Release Notes Linked issues for an annotation were not displayed correctly on ios 7 Resolved an issue where annotation linked issues were not displayed correctly in the annotation detail popup. The issue color squares were shrunken, and the issue names were not visible. This issue only occurred on ios The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for ipad version 1.2 released August 6, 2013: Importing some transcripts caused the app to freeze The TextMap app froze when trying to import transcripts with lines longer than 70 characters. It will make the font smaller to fit the longest line on the screen. Rotating to landscape orientation will make the text larger. Search hit highlights were not cleared when importing a new case Search hit highlights for the previously opened case were still visible after importing a new case. Closing and reopening the case cleared the incorrect display. File sharing was enabled in itunes The TextMap app was visible in the File Sharing area of itunes when it should not have been. The app does not currently support transferring files to the ipad via itunes. The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for ipad version released June 21, 2013: Resolved an issue where transcripts took a long time to load Some exported update files were invalid when editing annotations The TextMap desktop application indicated the file format was invalid when trying to import them.

7 TextMap App for ipad v1.0 7 Current Issues The following enhancements are included in the TextMap App for ipad version released June 21, 2013: Importing a new case does not clear search hit highlights The app opens the imported case automatically, but the hit highlights (including the hit text) from the last search run in the other case still appear on top of the transcript text. Switching to another case and back again or running a search in the imported case will clear the invalid highlights.
