2 The PlaySight Tennis App: Overview The PlaySight Tennis App (available for both ios and Android devices) is a very powerful tool that makes the Smart Court experience even more valuable. You can use the app to live stream from any tennis court in the world (and it also saves your live stream for future analysis or review), broadcast your matches, create custom sessions, or review any of your past SmartCourt sessions with full analytics, video, and data. SIGN UP HOME MENU Download the Android/Google play PlaySight Tennis App here. Download the Apple/iOS PlaySight Tennis App here. Once you have the PlaySight Tennis App installed, you can sign up for a PlaySight account or log in to an existing PlaySight account. 2 You can also edit your PlaySight tennis profile through the App - including defining your home club(s), adding coaches, and more. 3 The PlaySight Tennis App: Stats Dashboard The DASHBOARD tab on the app menu lets you filter through all of your Smart Court data - you can compare yourself to tennis players from around the world, you can filter your past SmartCourt content, and you can also chart your progress over time. You can also use handy cursor tools (see the second image to the right) to look at the data and results from specific Smart Court sessions. 4 The PlaySight Tennis App: Broadcast Livestream The BROADCAST LIVESTREAM tab turns your smartphone into a live streaming device! You can stream and store tennis matches or practice sessions through your phone and onto your PlaySight account. You can also click the red PLUS button and click BROADCAST to start live streaming from your smartphone. It takes about 30 seconds for a channel to open, and then you are free to share the link with the world. (Watch the video tutorial.) Step 1: The home screen of the PlaySight App gives you a few options - click BROADCAST LIVESTREAM to turn your phone into a streaming device. With a click of a button you can share your tennis moments with an unlimited number of viewers. Step 2: Once you start streaming, it takes about 30 seconds for PlaySight to open a streaming channel for you. Once this is complete, you are given the option to share the link to your live stream. Step 3: You can easily share your live stream on Twitter, Facebook, through , a text message, or you can copy the link directly as well. Step 5: The broadcast live stream session shows up in your SESSIONS tab as a manual tennis session - simply click on it to access the video - and you can also share the video on social media or through text and from your PlaySight account. Step 4: And voila! You are live streaming. At any time you can share the live stream, reverse the camera to selfie mode, or stop the live stream. 5 The PlaySight Tennis App: Create a Session As mentioned above (and throughout this user manual), the App has a lot of functionality for non-smart Court users, too. You can create your own tennis sessions through the PlaySight App - this includes uploading existing video from your phone or recording new video. (Watch the video tutorial for how to create a session) You can always edit the session information after you upload or record your video, but to get started you at least need to enter a session name and session type. The next screen prompts you to either record new video from your phone or to add existing video to upload from your phone to PlaySight. And the session will soon show up in your SESSIONS window - it says MANUAL which lets you know that this is not a Smart Court session. And once you have recorded or uploaded your video, you can use all of PlaySight s video tools - from the record audio to social sharing to drawing to slow motion. 5

6 The PlaySight Tennis App: Sessions The home page of the PlaySight Tennis App allows you to scroll through all of your tennis content - from manual sessions (live streams to recorded video to uploaded video) to Smart Court content. You can filter through all of your sessions (top right of this window) or you can scroll down to go back in time. And once you click on a specific session, PLAYSIGHT the APP next - DASHBOARD window gives you the ability to access that session s INFO, STATS, VIDEO, HIGHLIGHTS, or COACHING VIDEO (if one exists). As mentioned above (and throughout this user manual), the App has a lot of functionality for non-smart Court users, too. You can take video or add existing video from your phone to an existing session, or you can create an entirely new session. The video is uploaded to your account, so you can share and access it at any time through the app or on PlaySight.com. You can also edit the information within each session or create a new session from scratch by clicking CREATE A SESSION on the App home menu. 6

7 The PlaySight Tennis App: Create Custom Videos Within the VIDEO window of any Smart Court session, you can clip and create custom videos by clicking on the red RECORD button on the right side of the window (with the option of adding audio or music - this will pick up any sound playing on your phone or your voice if you start talking over the video). 8 The PlaySight Tennis App: Coaching and Performance Tools Advanced Filtering You can bring up the realtime shot tagging and tracking information by dragging up on the bottom menu bar - this will show the stroke result, the type of stroke, the time, speed, and spin of PLAYSIGHT each stroke. APP - DASHBOARD THE APP - LEADERBOARD Drawing and Shapes You can use the drawing tools by clicking the pencil button on the right menu - here, you can draw arrows, boxes, circles, ball marks, straight lines, and you can erase things as well. The drawings will appear on the screen at the point in which you drew them, and then they will fade away after a few seconds. Slow-Motion You can also review any video footage in slow motion by clicking the clock icon on the right side of the video window. 8

9 The PlaySight Tennis App: Leaderboard PlaySight Smart Courts around the world are all connected, and one of the ways this is shown is through the global tennis leaderboard, available online and through the App. The leaderboard provides a comprehensive list that you can easily filter to see how you stack up - against the best players in the world, as well as against players in your own club, city, or country. The default screen for the PlaySight global leaderboard is fastest serve, but it is very easy for you to customize the leaderboard by clicking FILTER in the top right of the screen. The leaderboard filter screen lets you select the stroke type, the location, the session type, the time frame, as well as the gender and age of the players you want to compare yourself to. And once you have established your own leaderboard, click DONE in the top right to access your own customized PlaySight Smart Court leaderboard. 9

10 The PlaySight Tennis App: Watching Live Streams Finally, you can watch any Smart Court or Live Court live stream through the PlaySight app by clicking LIVE STREAMING. You can search for a specific stream in the search bar, or you can browse through all of PlaySight s feeds that are live at that time by scrolling down on the screen.
