1 XEN Web Portal Instructions Hi Everyone! Please use this document for help on accessing the new BearCom Xen Web Portal This document contains instructions on installing the Citrix Xen Receiver as well as configuring multiple browser to work with the BearCom Xen Web Portal - Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome as well as Safari for our Mac users. Please scroll thru the document to find installation instructions as well as settings appropriate for your browser. 2 XEN Web Portal Instructions Installing Xen Receiver 1) To install the correct Citrix Receiver, go to scroll down and select Employee Access 2) Under Employee Access, click on the hyperlink for Xen Web Portal Receiver Install (Windows)

3 XEN Web Portal Instructions Installing Xen Receiver 3) You will see a pop-up appear for the install. Click Run 4) Select Start

4 XEN Web Portal Instructions Installing Xen Receiver 5) Click I accept the license agreement and then Next 6) DO NOT SELECT Enable Single Sign-on. Click the Next button.

5 XEN Web Portal Instructions Installing Xen Receiver 7) Select I agree and click Install 8) Upon successful installation you will see Installation Complete. Click Finish.

6 XEN Web Portal Instructions Installing Xen Receiver 9) Your system is now setup for remote Web Access. Go to the BearCom Web Portal ( and login as before - 10) When you see the screen below, single click on an application 11) And Happy Computing!!!!!!!

7 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Firefox BearCom Team please call or the TSC if you have any problems or questions during this process. We are here to help) 1) Start Firefox and select the Open Menu button and then the Add-on sbutton 2) Select Plugins and on every Plugin that says Citrix, please change from Ask to Activate to Always Activate.

8 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Firefox 3) They should now look like the ones below - (If you do not have the Citrix Receiver installed, or do not see any Citrix plugins, please go to the following link and download and install the Citrix Receiver - Instructions on installing the Citrix Receiver can be found at the end of this document. If you have any questions, please or call the TSC and we can assist) 4) Once plugins are activated, you can close the Add On Manager tab and restart the Firefox browser.

9 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Firefox 5) Start Firefox again and go to 6) In the login screen, enter your domain credentials (firstname.lastname and your 15 character passphrase) and hit the Log On button. 7) You will see a screen similar to the following screen.

12 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Firefox Click I accept the license agreement and then Next DO NOT SELECT Enable Single Sign-on. Click the Next button. Select I agree and click Install

13 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Firefox Upon successful installation you will see Installation Complete. Click Finish.

14 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Chrome BearCom Team please call or the TSC if you have any problems or questions during this process. We are here to help) 1) Start Chrome and in the address bar go to and log in with your BearCom domain username (firstname.lastname) and your sixteen characterpassword. 2) Once logged in you will see the following screen. (If you do not see the following screen or are prompted to install Citrix Receiver, please refer to the end of this document for Citrix Receiver install instructions.) Click on an application to open it.

15 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Chrome 3) When you click on the app, notice it opens a window (launch.ica) in the left of the bottom horizontal toolbar. Please click on the arrow on the right of the window. 4) In the dialog window, please click Always open files of this type and then Open. You will not have to do this file association process again.

16 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Chrome 5) If you see the following warning from Citrix Receiver, please select PermitUse 6) Your application will start. Happy Computing!!!!

17 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Chrome INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL CITRIX RECIEVER FOR XEN WEB PORTAL (if not already installed) Click the following link and select Run on the popup. Select Start

18 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Chrome Click I accept the license agreement and then Next DO NOT SELECT Enable Single Sign-on. Click the Next button. Select I agree and click Install

20 XEN Web Portal Instructions for Safari on Mac BearCom Team please call or the TSC if you have any problems or questions during this process. We are here to help) 1) Start Safari and in the address bar go to and log in with your BearCom domain username (firstname.lastname) and your sixteen character password. 2) Once logged in you will see the following screen. (If you do not see the following screen, are prompted to install Citrix Receiver or get an RSA Certificate error, please refer to the end of this document for Citrix Receiver install instructions.) Click on an application to openit.
