1 TEAM PLAYER & COACH MANAGEMENT Your complete team roster must be entered into the on-line database by the date determined by the League. Your AYHL Roster MUST match your team s USA Hockey Roster, no exceptions. This includes coaches and manager, as well as players. All roster moves (add/drop) must be done before 12:00 noon on Friday before that weekend s games. It is your responsibility to be sure that your team s roster is up to date. Failure to do so could result in inaccurate data being downloaded into ScoreKeeperWEB. On the following pages is the protocol for correctly entering team roster information. Please read this document in its entirety prior to entering any information for your team. Be sure to have all pertinent player information available prior to beginning the data entry process and the building of your roster. This includes coaching information as well DOB, shoots (left or right), jersey numbers, CEP Certification Number, CEP date etc. Questions or difficulty entering any roster information; please contact Gene Palecco at GAP3165@aol.com

2 Enter the login user name and password provided by the League. NOTE: Login information (both username and passwords are CaSe SeNsItIvE If you do not see AMH in the blue band you are not at the correct web address. From any Internet web browser (Chrome Explorer, FireFox, NetScape or Safari) enter the following web address: (take note of the /login at the end of the web address). This will bring you to the main login screen displayed here. Do not use or enter any information thru AOL s integrated web browser.

3 From the Admin tab select Change Your Password. NOTE: Do not share your login credentials with anyone! They are unique to your team and are your responsibility. You will be prompted to enter your original password and then your new password. Passwords can be any combination of alpha/numeric characters and are case sensitive.

4 From the Teams & Organizations tab select Coaches Click on the red downward expand button.

5 This is the expanded coach view. All Coaches, Managers and Trainers in the database can be viewed from this screen. Universal Icon Set used throughout the program. All icons may not be present for all functions. Plus = Add data Pencil = Edit data Trash = Delete Magnifying Glass = Search Dual Arrows = Refresh Selection can be sorted by any of the header rows by clicking on the title. Single click for Ascending Order and double click for Descending Order. You can increase the number of rows displayed by clicking on this arrow.

6 Click on the Universal Icon for search. Once the search window appears make your selection based on the search criteria you have and then click on find.

7 Your search results will be displayed. If there are multiple listings highlight your selection and click on the edit icon. A pop up display will appear with the coaching information verify that the data is correct, edit if necessary and click submit. NOTE: A single coach entry can be assigned to multiple teams. There is no need to create multiple coaches in the coaching the database. Only one coach should be entered in the coaching database as then assigned to multiple teams.

8 From the Players & Rosters tab select Edit Rosters.

9 Based on your login credentials you will be at your teams roster management page. Expand both the player and coach Add/Drop buttons as well as the coaches goalies and forwards & defense buttons.

10 WARNING: The add buttons in the Add/Drop Coaches and Add/drop Players will add information to the database possibly creating duplicate ID s this feature should only be used if you are certain that a Coach or Player IS NOT already in the database. Always search first! Search for your coach with the Universal Icon for searching; highlight the correct coach and the Add/Drop pop-up will appear. Repeat this process for all team personnel. Any Coach, Manager or Trainer should only appear in the Coaching Database once. They can be assigned to multiple teams and multiple positions on each roster. Verify that the information is correct, make necessary changes if applicable and assign to position on your team (Head Coach - Assistant Coach Manager Trainer ) and click submit.

11 If you would like to drop a Coach, Manager or Player select the row that the person appears in by single clicking to highlight, then click on the Universal Icon trash can, a confirmation dialog box will appear, accept or decline and a confirmation window will appear. This process DROPS the Coach, Manager or Player from the Team Roster but not from the database. Coaches, Managers and Players are never completely deleted from the system, once they have a record in the database they remain there and are just added and dropped to and form teams accordingly. Once you have repeated this process for your Coaching Staff your roster display should appear as per the above.

12 To add players to your roster the same procedures for adding coaches will be followed. Search for players by using the search tool, once the players are identified in the database select the row that corresponds to the player you would like to add to your roster, single click and the player information pop-up will appear. Be sure that all of the information is correct, if editing is necessary made the changes at this time. Be sure that Add Player and today s date is selected. If the player is already on your roster Drop Player will be automatically selected. This is also how you manage your roster in season once you have built your team. Once the information is correct single click on Submit and the player will be either Added or Dropped from your roster based on your selection.

13 If the Player you would like to add to your roster is not in the Player Database (you have already verified this with the search option) you will have to add the NEW AYHL Player to the database. Click on the Add icon and the pop-up window will appear. Your Organization s default information will already be populated in the necessary fields. Once you have entered all of the necessary player information single click on Submit to add the Player to your roster.

14 When you are done managing your roster from the Admin tab select Logout. Special thanks to the New Jersey Rockets for allowing us to use their team for this demonstration.
