The CA OPS/MVS to USS Interface allows CA OPS/MVS to receive messages from the USS SYSLOG Daemon. 2. The CA OPS/MVS to CA Event Management Interface allows CA OPS/MVS to route z/os messages to the CCS EM solution including the CCS EM alert management console. Both of these interfaces use CCS EM componentry which will be deprecated per the CCS EM EOL Announcement. Users of the CCS EM console solution should migrate to the CA Unified Infrastructure Management (CA UIM) alert management solution. While CCS EM componentry is still supported with CCS 14.1 and CA OPS/MVS 12.3, 13.0 and 13.5, its use will be deprecated at the CA OPS/MVS 13.5 release and a future CCS release. The CA OPS/MVS USS SYSLOG Server and CA OPS/MVS to CA UIM Interface will replace the deprecated CCS EM functions. See the CA OPS/MVS 13.5 Release Notes for more information about deprecation of CCS EM componentry and migration to the CA OPS/MVS 13.5 replacement solutions. ).
