4 1-1. About the System There are two kinds of users on the system: Authors and Administrators. Faculty members are Authors on the system. The tasks that each type of user may perform are as follows. Edit/publish faculty member profile page, or request publishing Authors (faculty members) Users registered as Authors (faculty members) may: Edit or publish "Free Entry field" on his/her profile page Edit/publish faculty member profile pages Administrators (Operations Department) Users registered as Administrators (PR Officers, Planning Office, Operations Department) may: 1. Edit, publish, and administer "Basic Information" < 基本情報 > on faculty member profile pages 2. Edit, publish, and administer "Free Entry field" < 自由記載欄 > on faculty member profile pages 3. 9 3.Enter main text 1 Click the "Visual" tab. 2 Click the "English" or " 日本語 (Japanese)" tab. An English page is created when the entry field in the "English" tab is filled in, and a Japanese page is created when the entry field in the "Japanese" tab is filled in. 3 4 Enter brief personal history and other profile information in the entry field. When editing is complete, click " 編集確認 (Confirm edit)". 10 5 Click "Save draft" and clicking Preview check the preview of the information. By saving the draft, even after logging out from the system editing can be performed again from the saved state. 11 *If the "Publish" button does not appear: Clicking "Submit for Review" will send an message to the Administrator (PR Officer) to request publishing. Following that, the Administrator will perform the task of publishing. After publishing, you will receive an message to notify you of completion. When the button is clicked, an message similar to the below will be sent. 12 Note: If you wish to leave the Profile blank Delete the main text, and type a space two times. TEST ] ] See P12. onward for the basics of editing and an explanation of specific tasks in the editor. When editing is complete Please return to the dashboard and log out. *Closing the tab of the edited page may result in errors. When creating a page As much as possible, please create a Japanese page and an English page. P10

Insert a horizontal rule. Check the spelling of the selected text. Paste copied or cut characters as text. Paste characters copied from Word. Clear formatting remove all formatting (e.g., bold, underline, text color) from the highlighted text Special character insert special characters not easily accessible via the keyboard (e.g., ¼, ½, ¾,,, Ö) Text color change the color of text サンプル Set the format of the selected characters. 17 4-2. How to attach media files (PDF, Word, Excel, etc.) 1 Click "Upload/Insert". 2 Click "Select file" 3 Click the file to publish, then "Open" ( 開く ). You can also drag and drop a file from the desktop or a folder. *Some browsers may not support this action. 4 Enter a title (the text that will be published) and click " 投稿に挿入 (Insert into post)". How to link to a URL (jump to other web page) 1 Select the text to link (click and drag) The portion that becomes blue when you click and drag In the above, the text "website" is selected. 2 Click 3 Enter the target URL in "URL", and click "Add link" ( リンク追加 ). *Check the "Open link in new window or tab" ( リンクを新ウィンドウまたはタブで開く ) box as necessary.
