4 4 Pricing Lightspeed will charge a monthly fee of 10,- for the Lighter than Light theme (billing via Lightspeed). For both new and old customers we have a special deal; the app may be used free of charge. NOTE: Only customers with custom work may apply for this offer, those using DotCommerce apps may not. Tip: Are you already a Lightspeed-client and do you wish to use our theme? Keep in mind that any adjustments made to the front-end section of your webshop might be discarded once you install a new theme. Unsure if your webshop has any adjustments to its front-end section? Please contact the Lightspeed-partner responsible for the adjustments. How does this work? 1. Install the theme in the Lightspeed themestore 2. Send an to, include your shopname, clientid and a copy of the invoice which includes any custom work from DotCommerce 3. We ll contact Lightspeed and reduce the monthly fee to 0,00 (lasts as long as you re using the Lighter than Light theme).

5 5 1. General Tip: Are you already a Lightspeed-client and do you wish to use our theme? Keep in mind that any adjustments made to the front-end section of your webshop might be discarded once you install a new theme. Unsure if your webshop has any adjustments to its front-end section? Please contact the Lightspeed-partner responsible for the adjustments. 1.1 Current theme Here you ll be able to select from different presets (variants) that we re offering. The base of each theme is identical to the other, the preset will however change the visuals. 1.2 Logo

6 6 Logo: This option allows you to upload a logo, this logo will be displayed in the header (top bar) of the Lighter than Light theme. The maximum dimension for the logo are 350 pixels wide and 100 pixels in height. Mobile logo: This option is not a mandatory requirement, when visiting the mobile webshop we ll automatically use the default logo. Should you desire to use a custom mobile logo, you can upload you can upload a file here, maximum dimensions are 50 pixels in height, the width will be adjusted cumulatively. Favicon: The favicon is the small thumbnail that appears next to the URL of your shop and what the customer will see when the shop is added under the bookmarks or favorites. You can upload a custom favicon under this option, maximum dimensions are 16 pixels in width and 16 pixels in height. 1.3 Social This segment of the theme allows you to connect any of the following social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr and Instagram. If you leave any of these fields blank it will not be shown in your webshop. De Social media iconen worden getoond in de footer. 1.4 Typografie Tip: If you re unsure which font to use, go to Fonts.Google to browse all available fonts. Tip: When selecting a color, keep the contrast high so that the text is always visible.

7 7 Titles (Google Web Fonts): Here you re able to change the font for the titles. Body (Google web Fonts): Here you re able to change the font for the body-text. Body color: Here you re able to change the color for the body-text. Top bar color: Here you re able to select a specific color for the USP which will be displayed in the header. Action/Highlights text color: Here you re able to select a specific color fort he highlighted text and buttons.

8 8 1.5 Colors Body background color: Do you want a color on the background of your webshop? Choose it here. Body background image: Do you want a image on the background of your webshop? Upload it here. Body background image repeat: Choose if you want the image to repeat, fixed or scroll. Body background image position: Where do you want to add the image on your screen? Headed/footer background color: Here you re able to change the color of the background in both the header and the footer.

9 9 Top bar background color: Here you re able to change the color of the background in the USP bar. Keep in mind that the color for the USPs and the background cannot be the same as the color you ve chosen in step 1.4 Typography. Highlight color: Here you re able to change the color of certain elements within your webshop, these elements consist of: brands, tags, labels, pricing and the background in the newsletterwindow. Action color: Here you re able to change the color for the buttons, links and elements (call-to-action elements). 1.6 Menu Tip: To give your webshop that unique flair, you re able to customize the menu in the next segment. So that others that use the same theme will not have an identical look to their shop. Show Home in menu: Enabling this option will display the word Home in the menu.

10 10 Show Brands in menu: Enabling this option will display the word Brands in the menu. Show Blogs in menu: Enabling this option will display the word Blog in the menu. Not using a blog? Disable this option! Show Contact in menu: Displays the word Contact in the menu. Maximum menu items: You can set the maximum amount of menu items that will be shown in the menu bar. When nothing is entered, this will default to 5. Note: This only works if the opion Categories in shop menu isn t selected. Show megamenu: Enabling this option will activate the megamenu, this menu is able to display a big amount of categories and subcategories. You may activate this option and preview it, if the result is undesirable you simply deactivate this option.

11 11 Categories in shop menu-item: To make optimal usage of the megamenu, we ve made it possible to open the menu with the word Shop, once the menu extends the categories will be displayed. No mega menu? Then you may disregard this option all together. Megamenu level: Select the amount of levels you wish to have in your mega menu. For instance: 3 levels: Clothing>Shirts>Sleeveless Shirts. 2 levels: Clothing>Shirts. Megamenu image link: In the mega menu there s more than enough space for an image. This image will be displayed on the right side of the menu. In this option you re able to submit a link which directly refers to this image. Megamenu image NL: In the mega menu there s more than enough space for an image. This image will be displayed on the right side of the menu. Here you re able to upload the image that will be displayed on the NL page. Not using an NL page? Disregard this option. Megamenu image EN: In the mega menu there s more than enough space for an image. This image will be displayed on the right side of the menu. Here you re able to upload the image that will be displayed on the EN page. Not using an EN page? Disregard this option. Megamenu image DE: In the mega menu there s more than enough space for an image. This image will be displayed on the right side of the menu. Here you re able to upload the image that will be displayed on the DE page. Not using an DE page? Disregard this option.

12 12 Shipping costs: Submit the shipping costs in this field, the theme will display this amount in the livecart. Free shipping: Here you re able to select a threshold amount, once this threshold has been triggered shipping becomes free. 1.7 Top bar Tip: We ve reserved space for 3 USPs in our top bar, keep these USPs short, neat and functional. Tip: Unsure which icons will fit your USPs? You re able to view all icon here. USP title: Here you re able to change the title for one of your USPs. USP icon: Here you re able to change the icon for one of your USPs. USP link: Here you re able to change the URL which redirects the customers when the click on one of the USPs. The steps described above may be repeated for each individual USP. 1.8 Homepage slider Tip: Because fullscreen sliders in Lightspeed (headlines) are not supported, you re able upload the slider images under this option. In our theme you can upload a maximum of 3 images.

13 13 Slider title font size: Here you re able to change the font size for the slider title. Slider subtext font size: Here you re able to change the font size for the sub text in the slider. Slider image: Here you re able to upload a slider image. Make sure these images have the exact same dimensions. These images have a minimum width of 1600 pixels, the height is relative to the width. Slider mobile image: Here you re able to upload the slider images for the mobile site, naturally the dimensions for this image is smaller than the original, for the width the images should fall somewhere between pixels.

14 14 Slider subtext: Here you re able to submit the subtext for the slider. Slider button text: Here you re able to create a button that redirect to page, submit the text for this button here. Slider button link: Here you able to submit a link to the page to which the button redirects. Slider text position: Where in the slider do you want to display the text? You re able to choose between the following: top, middle and bottom. 1.9 Homepage Tip: When customers navigate to your webshop, the first thing they ll see if the homepage. Your homepage might as well be your business card, so you ll want to leave a good impression and make it clear what is you re selling. The Lighter than Light theme is very versatile in this aspect, and you re able to customize the homepage to your heart s desire by enabling and disable many options. If you re missing a certain feature, please let us know! We might implement this in the near future. Tip: The text at the bottom of the homepage may be added/edited via Content > Pages > Homepage. Adding text here will help increase your Google rating.

15 15 Show categories: Enabling this option allows you to display categories on your homepage. Categories will be displayed in fields of 3 and 4, the title and image will also be displayed (should you ve added these). At Dashboard > Content > Homepage categories you re able to select which categories you want to display on the homepage. Show newest products: Enabling this option will show the products which are added recently on the homepage. Show featured products: Enabling this option will display the recommended or featured products on the homepage. You can add featured products via Dashboard > Content > Frontpage products. Show popular products: Enabling this option will display the most popular products on the homepage. The most popular products are automatically generated by Lightspeed. Show blogs: Enabling this option will display the 3 latest blogposts on the homepage. Per post, the title, date and picture will be displayed. Show brands: Enabling this option will display the brands underneath the products. When enabled the logo s of said brands will be displayed. If this option is not applicable for your webshop, simply disable this option. 2.0 Functions

16 16 Show reviews: Enabling this option will display the reviews (stars) on the product overview page and on individual product pages. Reviews may be activated at Footer 2.0. Show-tags: Enabling this option will display tags on both the homepage and the product page. Show stock: Enabling this option will display the current stock on the product page. Show newsletter form: Enabling this option will display the newsletter sign-up form on the homepage. Display incl. VAT/excl. VAT: Enabling this option will display both the price including VAT as well as excluding VAT. Product block order: Enabling this option will activate a border of 1 pixel for each individual product on the product and homepage.

17 17 White images product block: If some of your images are too big to be displayed in the preview image you can enable this option and the theme will automatically place the image in the center and add whitespace to give your products a more pleasant look. 2.1 Footer Tip: The title and information about the webshop (left side in the footer) may be edited in Settings > Website > Description. The options Information, My Account and Customer Service are automatically generated and may not be edited. Shop address: When you submit the shop address it will be displayed in the footer on the left hand side. VAT number: When you submit your VAT number we ll display this in the footer, under the address. If you also want to add your Chamber of Commerce number, add this in the same field. Shop telephone: Add the telephone number on which customer on which customers are able to reach you. This telephone number will be displayed in the footer, under the address. Shop Add an address on which the customer can reach you. The address will be shown in the footer, together with the telephone number.

18 18 Kiyoh: Tip: Kiyoh is an independent customer review platform. Read more about the terms and conditions here. Here you re able to add your Kiyoh ID to activate the widget. You can make the widget correspond to certain language via Content > Translations and adding another widget ID and using your Kiyoh ID as the key. Not using Kiyoh? Then you may disregard this option altogether. Webwinkelkeur: Tip: Webwinkelkeur is a unique and affordable certification which checks if a webshop has the required legal requirements and combines this with customer reviews. The terms and conditions may be read here. Here you re able to add the Webwinkelkeur ID to activate the widget. You can make the widget correspond to certain language via Content > Translations and adding another widget ID and using your Webwinkelkeur ID as the key. Not using Webwinkelkeur? Then you may disregard this option altogether. Feebackcompany: Tip: A professional customer review system for the entrepreneur. Read more about the terms and conditions here. Here you re able to add the Feedbackcompany ID to activate the widget. You can make the widget correspond to certain language via Content > Translations and adding another widget ID and using your Feedbackcompany ID as the key. Not using Feedbackcompany? Then you may disregard this option altogether.

19 Labels Tip: Specially for the sales we ve designed several sales labels. If you ve submitted both an old price and a new price the label will present itself automatically. If you want to add your own custom label with your own text, simply go to Products > Extra template data and submit your custom text in Datafield 01, the text will now appear in the label. Show Sale labels: Enable this option to make the sale label appear once an old and new price have been submitted. Sale label background color: Here you re able to change the background color for the sale label. Show custom label: Want to show your own label? Simply go to Products > Extra template data and submit your custom text in Datafield 01, the text will now appear in the label. This needs to be done for every individual product. Custom label background color: Here you re able to change the background color for your custom sale label. Show out of stock label: When you enable this function, an out of stock label will appear over the products that are currently out of stock. This way a customer can quickly determine if a product has stock or not. Out of stock background color: Here you re able to change the background color for your out of stock label.

20 Certificates Navigate to: Design > Certificates In the Lighter than Light theme we ve made room for 2 certificates. These will be displayed in the header, next to the logo. Via Tools > Files you re able to upload an image for each certificate, the maximum size of this image must be 65 pixels in height. Copy the URL and paste this URL in the certificates-field. These will be displayed in your shop automatically.

21 Category images Navigate to: Products > Categories Categories can be found in the menu. It s up to you how you want the flow of categories to be set, you can choose between categories and sub-categories. Once you click on a category you re able to upload an image. The most ideal dimensions for this image is 503 pixels widt and 362 pixels high. 2.5 Product image Navigate to: Products Each individual product can have up to 10 images. The most optimal size for these image are a maximum of 636 pixels width and 635 pixels wide. This will work perfectly with the pop-up effect the theme offers during mouseover. 2.6 Blogimage Navigate to: Blogs > Articles The most optimal dimensions for the blog articles are 503 pixels in width.
