3 Search Bar, My Data and Sign In Find: Search for all content within the site by typing keywords and tags associated with the content. My Data: Download History Favorites Sign In: If you are a member of the City of Aspen ArcGIS Online Organization, sign in to gain access to additional content that has been shared with your organization or a group you are a member of. Map Frame View the extent of the content on the page. Click on the extent in the map frame to open the content. 3 P age

4 Filter Contents By Filter the content on the page by tags, the content source or content type. Content is categorized into 3 types: spatial datasets, documents or web mapping applications. Documents and web mapping applications launch upon selection. When Spatial Data is selected, a new page launches. Spatial Dataset Page Features Map Frame The selected spatial dataset displays the extent and a simple view of the data in the map frame. By selecting a feature, you may view the attributes for that feature. 4 P age

5 Overview Tab Description: Attributes: Select Attributes to access further information and view categorized attributes. About: Select the Data Source, Metadata or Create a Webmap or Story Map (ArcGIS Online Organization members only). Data Access: Favorites: (ArcGIS Online Organization members only). 6 Download: Choose to download the spatial dataset in several different formats as a Full Dataset, or a Filtered Database created by zooming to the desired extent in the map frame, or by filtering the attributes using the Data Tab. APIs: Download spatial datasets as Application Interfaces (APIs). For application developers. 6 P age

7 Data Tab View all attributes in the spatial dataset. Hover over a row and view the highlighted feature in the map frame. Use the filter tool to select a subset and view the result in the map frame. (You can then download that filtered dataset). API Explorer Tab For application developers. Related Data Related data to the selected spatial dataset based on tags and extent. 7 P age

8 Documents Page Features Select a document and it will launch into a new tab in your web browser. Download and print. Web Mapping Application Page Header Navigate back to City of Aspen Home, GIS Home or Map Aspen Home. Footer View Scale bar, Location of cursor (in DMS) allowing you to click on a location and obtain map coordinates (DMS), and source of application features and basemaps. 8 P age

9 Expand Footer to access attribute tables for feature layers in the application. Map Frame View feature layers and basemaps within the application. Search Bar Search a location in the map by address or Parcel ID #. Navigation Tools Zoom In, Zoom Out. (To Pan, simply click on the map and drag). Default (Home) extent 9 P age

10 My Location. A point is placed on your current location that you may zoom to. Print. Customize Map Title, Layout size (8.5x11, 11x17), Format (PDF or Image file), Scale/Extent, Author/Copyright info, Legend, Map Frame dimensions and print quality (DPI). Measure Area, Distance or Location Draw Custom Points, Lines, Polygons and Text in your map frame. Tool Bar Legend Layer List. Operational Layers Control Arrows: Expand Groups of Layers. Check Box: Toggle layer on or off Ellipses: perform more actions for the selected layer. 10 P age

11 Basemap Gallery Toggle between different basemaps available Select Operational Select Control Check Box: Toggle layer selectability. Ellipses: perform more actions for the selected layer. 11 P age

12 Filter Arrows: Expand Filters Slide Button: Activates filter tool. Drop down menu: Select value to filter by. Add Data Search Search for data in ArcGIS Online. Chose a tag to search by, if the data exists within the map, the type of data (Map, Feature or Image Service), and sort results (Relevance, Title, Owner, Rating, Views or Date). URL Features in a web mapping application are web services with a URL. If you know the URL of a service, you can add it here. File Browse to a file on your computer (SHP, CSV, KML, GPX, GeoJSON) and add it to map. 12 P age
