2 Submission Web-Sites From the IRPS web-site Submission web-site (InControl) Review the dates on the next slide to ensure your material is submitted to the symposium in a timely manner. Follow the instructions on the remaining slides to upload your manuscript and platform presentation. 2

3 Important Dates Date Description Notes 29 January Draft Manuscripts Due First draft of manuscript due to session chair/mentor (for first time IRPS authors). 13 February Draft Platform Presentations Due Send PowerPoint presentation to session chairs for A/V guideline compliance check (platform presentations only) 24 February Final Manuscripts Due Final manuscripts uploaded to InControl website. Bio, copyright form 24 February Upload Site Closed InControl web-site is closed in order to allow manuscript processing. 24 February Author Registration Deadline 10 March Platform Presentation Upload Site Available 13 March Presentation Review by Session Chair 27 March On-Site Platform Presentations Due All authors must register by this deadline. InControl web-site is re-opened for platform presentation material. Send your draft presentation file to your session chair Final platform presentation upload for symposium presentation 3

7 Welcome Screen Once you login, you will be shown the status of your paper. Click here to submit your paper manuscript

8 Enter the Title, Abstract, and Paper ID Paper Title Paper ID Sample Paper ID s3ap2 Must be session number and paper number Abstract Permission to audio/video tape presentation Click Continue

9 Add Author Information Add Author Information here Click Add this Author

10 Include Additional Authors Add more authors as necessary Add more authors, or finish

11 Upload Manuscript Choose file format, browse your PC for the file, and upload to the InControl web-site Only upload Word document files. PDF files are not supported.

12 File details are shown Verify that the paper information is correct. click Submit Copyright This link will bring you to the IEEE copyright management website. Important: Upload author bios for each of the authors in your paper.

13 Submit copyright Verify that the paper information is correct, then click Continue Information correct. This link will bring you to the IEEE copyright management web-site.

17 Upload Presentation File Click the Upload Presentation link

18 Upload Presentation File Browse your PC for the presentation file, and upload to the InControl web-site. Upload PowerPoint slides only. Platform Presentation file name must be in the form: SessionID.PaperNumber (e.g. 5C.1, 3T.5, 2M.4, etc.) Check with your Session Chair if you have questions

19 Recording Authorization Recording authorization pop-up will appear. By default, IRPS platform presentations are recorded. Click OK. If you do not wish your material to be recorded, contact Phyllis Mahoney at the address shown in the pop-up.

21 Paper and Presentation Status is Shown Revisions to the paper manuscript will not be available at this time. If multiple revisions of your presentation file appear, delete obsolete versions prior to the symposium If revisions are required for your presentation file, click Revise File. Multiple files are allowed with different names.
