4 Once on the Technical Support Page you will find the following menu on the left pane of the page: Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) In our ongoing efforts to provide the best in Technical Services and Support for our customers, RISO, Inc. has made the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for our consumables (Ink, Master and Miscellaneous) readily available and easy to obtain. Access to these documents will educate customers in complying with Safety organizations. Obsolete Notices This section describes machines or parts that are no longer manufactured or in stock. These notices would supersede discontinuance notices. 6 Click on the updated list shown at the top of the page: PC Card Tools This link contains RISO Flashcard applications for Win98/2K/XP. These applications are used to write the Print Engine Programs to applicable linear flashcards when upgrading machine programs. Print Engine Program Selector Also known as PEP Selector. This is a page of downloadable programs specific to RISO High Speed Duplicators, Inkjet Printers and Controllers. These programs can be burned onto PC "Memory" or "Flashcards" and then uploaded into the print engine of the corresponding machine. Technical NewsFlashes These bulletins serve the purpose for a range of issues from announcing new programs and forms to publishing tips and additional technical information within the department of Technical Operations. 7 You can search for a Technical Document using either Search on the left pane or Search Library on the right pane of the Technical Support 2.0 page. 9 Note: If you search using a document number, i.e: TIB#, PIN#, etc..., the search engine will single out and post that specific document. You can also enter a keyword to narrow your search. If the selections were to be left blank, you d get all documents corresponding to the specified Document Type and Product Series you've selected Tips and Tricks Contains tips for troubleshooting various types of commonly encountered problems. Downloading Printer Drivers: You don t have to be logged in to download printer drivers. On RISO website main page click on Printer Drivers under Resources. 13 From the Navigation Menu, click on PEP Selector. Select the Machine Model Name and click on the Search button. A list for all the posted Print Engine Programs for the specified Machine Model will be generated. ISSUE DATE: 5/17/2012 SUPERSEDES: TSS-059 DATED: 9/24/ OF 14

14 Note: To get access to either IS700C, IS900C or ComColor printersdocuments or engine programs, enter "COMCOL" as your product series. For Duplicators, only the following models are flushed with firmware programs: RN2235, RN2550, RP, V8000, RZ, MZ, CZ and EZ. The older models such as GR, FR, TR, CR, etc, even though included in the PeP List, are not flushed but rather have physical EEPROM Chips that contain their firmware programs. To get access to Non-RISO products documents, select "Non-Riso Accessories". as the Product Series. AR series (AR8500, AR9100, etc...), kirk Rudy Envelope and Heavy Media Feeder, and Thompson T-100D Envelope Feeder are non-riso accessories.
