4 IMD World Competitiveness Online Time series on competitiveness with interactive customization World Competitiveness Online is a unique and comprehensive database on the competitiveness of nations. It includes a 20-year time series from the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook, the leading annual report published by IMD since The main functionalities include: Extensive country profiles, presented in a very visual and userfriendly way Any combination of data for 61 countries, a 20-year time series and more than 300 criteria Downloads (Excel and PDF) Excellent search and data filters Data can easily be re-used in other software for analysis Statistics are updated as soon as new information becomes available. 5 1 ACCESSING OUR PLATFORMS WITH YOUR MYMD ACCOUNT A - In order to create your myimd account, follow the pathway below: 1. Go to or any page on 2. Click on the `Sign in' (person icon) button on the upper right and on Create an account on the pop-up which appears. Make sure to select your company from the Member Company drop-down menu 3. Once you have filled in all fields, click on the Submit button B - If you already have a myimd account: 1. Go to or any page on 2. Click on the `Sign in' (person icon) button on the upper right 3. 6 A CREATING YOUR MYIMD ACCOUNT AND SIGNING IN To access the Learning Hub or Global Knowledge Platform, Wednesday Webcasts or World Competitiveness Online once logged in, click on the square icon: in the upper right hand corner of the page, then select the service of your choice from the quick access pop-up menu IMD IMD 6

7 2 ACCESSING WEDNESDAY WEBCASTS Once logged in, you can access the currently playing webcast by selecting Wednesday Webcasts from the Services drop down menu once logged in. You will be redirected to the Wednesday Webcasts page: Click on the Schedule tab to display upcoming webcasts Click on the webcast title to play the latest Wednesday Webcast IMD 7

8 2 ACCESSING WEDNESDAY WEBCASTS In the Schedule tab, you can click on the Add to my calendar links to add webcasts to your Outlook/ client calendar IMD 8

9 3 NAVIGATING THE HUB On the landing page menu of the Learning Hub, you will find the following options: News: latest articles from IMD Auditorium: most recent webcasts Whitepaper Library: library of articles including Insights, Tomorrow s Challenges and Book Summaries Video Library: library of videos including webcasts, teamcasts, how-to podcasts, 10-minute series and leadership interviews IMD 9

10 3 NAVIGATING THE HUB Whitepaper and Video Libraries offer 2 options for accessing content: A: Using the wheel and clicking on a category of interest B: Using the search function and searching via keywords B A IMD 10

12 3 NAVIGATING THE HUB The Auditorium displays the five most recent webcasts. Click on Watch Now to play the latest webcast, or select one of the other webcasts from the left hand margin. As a reminder, webcasts older than 5 weeks can be accessed at any time via the Video Library IMD 12

Widgets Latest Articles, Latest Videos and Latest Podcasts return results for the latest publications, videos and podcasts from worldwide business sources IMD Video returns the latest videos from IMD (webcasts, teamcasts, etc) My Latest Searches and My Latest Bookmarks enable you to save your search history right to your homepage My favourite Category/Topic: see next page IMD 14

Under Media Format, you can choose the desired format - selecting IMD Content will limit the results to IMD content only, while the other options return results from worldwide business sources. 2. Under Article Count, select the number of results you would like returned (1-15), then click on Save Changes to validate IMD 16
