4 Known Issues and Limitations for SAP BusinessObjects 3.1 and Crystal Reports Service Pack 7 SAP BusinessObjects Desktop Intelligence When a BOE user whose logon name contains the '%' character logs on to the Desktop Intelligence client, the new wizard appears, even though "Show welcome wizard" is disabled by the user. ADAPT If the logon name of a Business Object Enterprise (BOE) user contains the '%' character, when the user logs on to the Desktop Intelligence client the new wizard appears, even though the user has disabled the "Show welcome wizard" option. SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Auditing information is not written to the auditing database. ADAPT Auditing information may not be written to the auditing database if the message size is too large. The workaround is to use a command line parameter to specify the maximum length of a detail: - auditor_maxdetaillength <value>. The value can be up to How to use the "wdeploy deployall" command ADAPT WDeploy can successfully deploy all web applications to the default web application server. For other web application servers such as WebLogic11, the following web applications require additional steps: AnalyticalReporting (WebI) VoyagerClient Perform the following steps in order to deploy these web applications: 1. Change the name of the file <install dir>\deployment\apps\analyticalreporting.properties to <install dir> \deployment\apps\analyaticalreporting._properties 2. 5 Side-by-side installations with SQL Anywhere not supported ADAPT Running multiple separate installations of BOE using the integrated SQL Anywhere database on the same physical machine is not supported. Doing so will result in install failures or database failures in all subsequent BOE installs. SQL Anywhere BusinessObjects User Account may not be accepted ADAPT When you perform an installation with the integrated database (SQL Anywhere) option, you may see the message the CMS user already exists when entering the SQL Anywhere BusinessObject User Account. The BusinessObjects Enterprise XI full installation program cannot run from a network location with the integrated database feature selected. To successfully run the installation program, copy the full package installer to the local drive and then run the setup.exe from there. Use a keycode that contains the Auditing feature ADAPT A full install using a keycode that does not include the Auditing feature will fail. Ensure that your install is performed using a keycode that includes Auditing. You may encounter a problem using authentication with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ADAPT While configuring authentication with the JD Edwards integration kit, you may encounter the message "java.lang.nosuchmethoderror: com.jdedwards.system.xml.xmlrequest". SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise requires JD Edwards 8.95 binaries and does not support the 8.96 binaries. Follow the instructions " To provide access to required EnterpriseOne files" in the document SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Integration for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne" and copy the 8.95 binaries from the JD Edwards system to the BusinessObjects Enterprise system. 2/5

6 SAP BusinessObjects Integration Solutions PS8 registry value overwritten by Integration SP7 patch installation ADAPT The PeopleSoft Enterprise applications Integration SP7 patch overrides PS8 registry values. After installing the patch, the PeopleSoft SSO server will not start. If the PS8 registry was not backed up before the Integration SP7 patch installation, perform the following actions after the installation: 1. On the QRY server: a. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\Integration Kit for PeopleSoft \QRY in the registry, and ensure that "Path JVM Library" points to <install_dir>\javasdk\jre\bin\client. On a UNIX platform, the QRY server registry is located at <install_dir>/bobje/data/.bobj/registry/software/ business objects/suite 12.0/integration kit for peoplesoft. b. Locate the <install_dir>\businessobjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86 folder, and execute the following command: crpsqryserver.exe -setup -psuser <user_name> -pspass <password> On a UNIX platform, crpsqryserver is located at <install_dir>/bobje/enterprise120/<platform>. 2. On the SSO server: a. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\Integration Kit for PeopleSoft \SSO in the registry, and ensure that "Path JVM Library" points to <install_dir>\javasdk\jre\bin\client. On a UNIX platform, the SSO server registry is located at <install_dir>/bobje/data/.bobj/registry/software/ business objects/suite 12.0/integration kit for peoplesoft. b. Locate the <install_dir>\businessobjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86 folder, and execute the following command: crpsssoserver.exe -setup -psaddr <address> -psuser <user_name> -pspass <password> -port <port> On a UNIX platform, crpsssoserver is located at <install_dir>/bobje/enterprise120/<platform>. Note that <address> requires a string such as "//vanpgst000:9000". SAP BusinessObjects Live Office Live Office requires Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 on Windows Server 2012 ADAPT Before you install Live Office XI 3.1 on a Windows Server 2012 machine, you must enable Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 on the machine. Otherwise, Live Office will not function. 3/5

7 SAP BusinessObjects Voyager Text in the header of the last column in a crosstab may exceed the column width ADAPT In Internet Explorer 11, if the header text of the last column in a crosstab exceeds the column width, the text continues past the column border. This issue may occur with member headers and calculations that have long names. The work around for this problem is to increase the width of the last column in the crosstab. SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence Error while creating or editing an existing Web Intelligence document using the Rich Internet Application in.net InfoView on IIS 8.5 or.net Framework 4.5 ADAPT The issue is observed when.net Framework greater than 4.0 is used. To resolve this issue: 1. Launch the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. 2. For the Server Home, add a MIME Type with the following configuration: File name extension:.wis MIME type: application/isapimodule 3. Expand Sites and in the /AnalyticalReporting Home, open the Handler Mappings and add a Script Map using the following configuration: Request Path: *.wis Executable: C:\Program Files (x86)\business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\cdzISAPI.dll Name: BusinessObjects Web Intelligence 4. Click Request Restrictions and in the tab Mapping, uncheck the Invoke handler only if request is mapped to option. 5. In the Verbs and Access tab, select All verbs. Leave Script selected. 6. 8 SAP BusinessObjects Xcelsius Xcelsius 2008: Missing provinces in Thailand map ADAPT In Xcelsius 2008, the Thailand map component has 73 provinces including Krung Thep, the special administrative unit of Bangkok. The following provinces are missing: Amnat Charoen Mukdahan Nong Bua Lamphu Sa Kaeo SAP Crystal Reports Infoview on.net Framework 2.0 or higher has runtime errors when using SAP prompting ADAPT When BusinessObjects Enterprise is installed on IIS7 or.net Framework 2.0 or higher, SAP prompting has runtime errors. Workaround: Add the following parameter to web.config in your BusinessObjects Enterprise directory (for example, <INSTALL_DIR>\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Web Content\InfoViewApp\SAP\Web.config) and restart IIS: <pages enableeventvalidation="false" /> 5/5

9 Fixed Issues for SAP BusinessObjects 3.1 and Crystal Reports 2008 Lifecycle Manager ADAPT When a report is added and scheduled in LCM Version Management, an alert with a yellow triangle appears. When a report is selected in LCM Version management, if you delete the instance of the report from its history, then the alert with a yellow triangle appears. ADAPT Overrides to LCM Crystal subreport connections are not applied. ADAPT Lifecycle Management: The lifecycle management tool throws an error while promoting a job that contains a universe with 1000 lists of values. ADAPT Unable to promote a report into a newly created destination folder if the folder name is same in the source and destination systems and the CUIDs are different. The issue is resolved ADAPT LCM does not promote MetaData.DataCommandTable and MetaData.BusinessFilter objects. 1/75

10 ADAPT When you try to logout from the LCM application after making few edits to a job, the following error message appears: Sorry, LCM application is unable to process your request This issue is resolved. ADAPT In Promotion Management, while trying to rollback a job, if you choose the "Complete Rollback" option, the History window closes instead of showing the rollback status. The problem is resolved. SAP BusinessObjects Desktop Intelligence ADAPT In Infoview, a Partial Results warning message fails to display when you refresh a Desktop Intelligence report, even though the report returns only partial results. ADAPT The MHTML file content is corrupted if it is scheduled from a publication based on a Desktop Intelligence document that contains multiple reports. 2/75

11 ADAPT After setting the language locale for Desktop Intelligence and Designer to Polish, Swedish, Russian, Serbian, French (Monaco), English (Caribbean) or English (Zimbabwe) the applications fail to launch. This problem happens after Service Pack 4 has been installed. ADAPT In the Desktop Intelligence 3-tier mode, row restrictions are not applied in documents. ADAPT When you upgrade to XI 3.1 version SP03 or greater, scheduled Desktop Intelligence reports can fail and the following error appears: Cannot find the 'DLA Region' universe. (DA0011) ADAPT In Desktop Intelligence, the LastExecutionDate() function displays the next day if refreshed after after 5:00 PM EST. ADAPT In Desktop Intelligence, the Change Password dialog box does not close when you click the Cancel button. 3/75

12 ADAPT In Desk Intelligence, when you set the key objects as filters, the mandatory filter does not work. This fix works for universes created after applying the fix. For existing universes with mandatory filters, you need to delete the existing universe mandatory filters, recreate them and then save and re-export the universe. ADAPT The Desktop Intelligence Job Server ignores the SMTP port given in the SMTP server details. ADAPT When you use a VBA macro to open a Desktop Intelligence report, the report does not open correctly. ADAPT Attempts to publish to HTML format a Desktop Intelligence document that is scheduled and saved to an unmanaged disk with a Specific Name for the file name fails. ADAPT When you refresh a Desktop Intelligence report imported from BOE XI R2, the lastrefresh time is incorrect. 4/75

13 ADAPT An MHTML file is not generated correctly when you schedule a publication to the file source and choose a Desktop Intelligence report as the source document. ADAPT A Desktop Intelligence report containing Arabic data and using the Simplified Arabic font crashes. The problem is resolved. ADAPT When you schedule a Desktop Intelligence to PDF format, some images in the output document are missing. ADAPT When you try to export a Desktop Intelligence document from Desktop Intelligence to a Business Objects repository, the application freezes. ADAPT The "MingLiu" font does not displayed properly when you reopen Desktop Intelligence on the English version of Windows 7 with Chinese (Simplified, PRC)" as Language for non-unicode programs. 5/75

14 ADAPT In Desktop Intelligence, very small numeric values are not rounded to zero. The problem is resolved. ADAPT When you export a Desktop Intelligence report to Excel, extra columns are added to the Excel document. The problem is resolved. ADAPT When you save a Desktop Intelligence document in InfoView with "Send Documents to Repository" right denied, an error occurs but no error message is displayed. ADAPT In Desktop Intelligence in the 3-tier mode, if an audit event is enabled on the BOE server, the application crashes when you try to retrieve documents from the server or refresh a local document. ADAPT When you try to save a Desktop Intelligence report locally, the following error message appears: This file is Read-Only (FRM0002). 6/75

15 ADAPT In Desktop Intelligence, when you use the "Calculation" operand in a condition in the query panel, the SQL generated is incorrect. The problem is resolved. ADAPT In Desktop Intelligence, linked universe row level restrictions are not working. ADAPT When you export a Desktop Intelligence document to Excel, the chart axis scale value is changed. ADAPT A Desktop Intelligence report disappears from its Category after it has been opened and saved within InfoView. ADAPT The Import dialog box in Desktop Intelligence shows an incorrect documents list for the user Inbox and Favorites. 7/75

16 ADAPT When you launch Desktop Intelligence and then cancel the Create Report Wizard, the Desktop Intelligence Addin (.rea file) is opened. ADAPT In the Query Panel in Desktop intelligence, incorrect SQL is generated if you use the "Calculation" operand in a condition. SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise ADAPT When users install a Web Intelligence Rich Client through InfoView, the installation fails and the following error message appears: "Web Intelligence Rich Client has already been installed on your system, and its install type does not allow upgrade. To upgrade your Web Intelligence Rich Client, you must uninstall the current version and reinstall the newer version". This problem happens when any BusinessObjects Enterprise components, except the Web Intelligence Rich Client, has been previously installed on the machine. ADAPT Using the Import Wizard, when the "BusinessObjects 6.5 User Personal" document is imported in Japanese language, the document name is found to be corrupted. This issue is now resolved. 8/75

17 ADAPT Temporary files may remain after installation on a Unix or Linux machine During installation, files with read, write, and execute (777) permissions are created in the <PATH>/bobje/tmp folder. These files are not cleaned up after the installation has finished. The problem is resolved on Solaris and Linux. This problem is not resolved on AIX and HP _ia64 platforms, and files with names such as.mwsocketxxxxx may remain. ADAPT When viewing a recurring instance of a document that uses events in Java InfoView, an error message appears: "An error has occurred: java.util.nosuchelementexception". This problem happens to users who have been granted full rights on the report object but are denied view rights to events. This problem does not happen in.net InfoView. ADAPT Passwords may fail to be encrypted in the Universe Designer login window. This problem happens when the option "Private" is set to "No" under "Password" in the.cod file for the connection server. ADAPT The.NET InfoView values shown for report schedule duration are incorrect. 9/75

18 ADAPT In LifeCycle Manager, when the "Promote Overrides" tool is used to override BusinessWarehouse MDX database connections, the override fails to be applied. ADAPT A Central Management Server (CMS) in the cluster becomes unresponsive, which renders the entire cluster unresponsive. One result is that users experience very long delays when trying to log in. ADAPT Attempts to schedule a Web Intelligence document with Japanese in the instance title to a comma-separated values (CSV) file to a Linux file system fails. ADAPT In InfoView (BI launch pad), when report parameters are based on a Business Warehouse (BW) query and have associated pick lists, the pick-list values fail to be displayed when SAP-style prompting is used. In addition, if a parameter has a default value, the SAP-style prompting interface fails to display the default value. ADAPT Members of the Administrators group are unable to view source document instances for publications on the scheduling History page. The Administrators group can view and open source document instances and Inbox content for standard users in the Central Management Console (CMC). 10/75

19 ADAPT After the "Deliver Document As Attachment" check box is cleared for a publication, and the document subsequently saved, when the document is re-opened the "Deliver Document As Attachment" check box is selected. ADAPT In the Toolbox, folders at different directory levels with the same name may display incorrect information. For example, consider a parent folder named 'A' that contains a subfolder named 'B', and a folder named 'B' at the same directory level as folder 'A'. The top-level folder 'B' incorrectly displays the contents of the subfolder 'B'. ADAPT In.NET InfoView, when viewing the history of a report that has alerts configured within it, alert icons are not shown. ADAPT When settings are changed on the Preferences page in.net InfoView (BI launch pad), those settings fail to be applied on the InfoView (BI launch pad) page. ADAPT When you send a Web Intelligence document to a user via the Business Objects inbox, if the document is marked as read, the sent document is also marked as read in the receiver's inbox mail. 11/75

20 ADAPT In the Central Management Console (CMC), folders may fail to display all entries for a page after the entries are sorted. For example, when sorting by Owner, only the items for one owner are displayed when the folder contains items belonging to several owners. ADAPT When adding a new SAP user account to an existing role that is mapped in the Central Management Console (CMC), the SAP alias for the account fails to be automatically created in the CMC. This problem remains even though the new SAP user account can be used to successfully log in to InfoView (BI launch pad). ADAPT When a Crystal report is scheduled to a user inbox, when the report is opened from the inbox a dialog box appears and requests database logon credentials. This problem happens with reports that are based on Oracle. ADAPT When modifying custom access levels in the Central Management Console (CMS) for a user account, the CMS terminates unexpectedly. This problem may happen in a clustered environment, where two CMSs are used. 12/75

21 ADAPT In Universe Designer, settings for access restrictions may fail to be applied for imported universes, and using the Manage Access Restrictions tool to set new restrictions causes Universe Designer to terminate unexpectedly. ADAPT When a large number of events are assigned to the Event Server, the server may take a long time to pick up all of the monitored files after it is restarted. The way that the Event Server handles the I/O requests is now optimized. ADAPT Server session tokens and server failover tokens are being reused after the Central Management System deletes these tokens. ADAPT Multiple logins to Active Directory (AD) may take longer to be authenticated. ADAPT When a Crystal Reports publication is run on a system that uses IBM AIX, a core dump is generated, which may cause the Central Management Server (CMS) to terminate unexpectedly. To enable this fix, before installing the HotFix, set the environment variable "TARGETDIR" to the directory named SQLAW. 13/75

22 ADAPT When a publication for a Crystal report is created and run, a core dump occurs, which may cause the publication to freeze. The core dump is generated by the Crystal Reports job server. ADAPT When opening an Xcelsius file for which a user has no view rights, the message that appeared contained a misspelled word. ADAPT When you try to edit a profile containing many Web Intelligence formula expression values, a "Loading..." error message appears. You need to manually edit the CmcApp web.xml file. Refer to for more details. ADAPT When you try to schedule reports, the Central Management System fails to communicate with the job server. ADAPT Refreshing an individual query of Web Intelligence document may fail in.net InfoView if the Web Intelligence document is based on multiple data providers: one from a universe and one from an Excel document. 14/75

23 ADAPT The BI launch pad hangs when you try to use a synchronized LDAP connection access. ADAPT SAP Roles are deleted from the Enterprise server and the administrator has to add the roles again. ADAPT In the Central Management Console (CMC), after deleting an object in a folder, other objects may fail to be displayed. This problem happens when a folder and an object share the same name, and they are stored as a sub-folder under the a parent folder. After an object is deleted from the sub-folder, only the object that shares the name of the sub-folder will remain displayed. ADAPT When logging in to Designer or Web Intelligence, an error message appears. This problem happens when the Central Management Server (CMS) is set to bind to the IP address instead of to the host name or set to auto-assign the bind operation. 15/75

24 ADAPT While editing user rights to create custom access levels or rights to objects, if the Central Management Console (CMC) is left to idle for more than 20 minutes, before the rights editing work is completed, the following error message appears: "HTTP Status The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request." ADAPT When you try to open a scheduled Web Intelligence document in PDF format in Internet Explorer version 6 or 8, a 400 Bad Request error message appears. ADAPT When opening a Web Intelligence document, the following error message appears: "Session is closed (:INF)". This problem happens when the Central Management Server (CMS) is set to bind to the IP address instead of to the host name or set to auto-assign the bind operation. ADAPT When users without access rights to view a document select View > View Latest Instance for a Performance Manager or Dashboard Manager dashboard, a missing-page message appears. 16/75

25 ADAPT When viewing a report in BusinessObjects Enterprise, descriptions derived from dynamic (Crystal report, Web Intelligence, or custom-coded) parameters do not appear. This fix does not apply to the Java applet viewer. ADAPT When viewing a Crystal report historical instance through an F5 load balancer, the instance automatically refreshes, causing a slight delay before it appears. ADAPT A BusinessObjects Enterprise session continues to exist, and can be found in the CMC, even after restarting the SIA and Tomcat, or restarting the operating system that hosts BusinessObjects Enterprise. ADAPT In an SAPIK report, when using an OpenDoc URL that contained an optional variable containing "no_value", it did not correctly use a null value. ADAPT Crystal reports that are scheduled to be published in Excel or PDF format may cause duplicate records to appear in the Excel or PDF output. No duplication of records occurs when the report is scheduled for publishing outside of Excel. The problem is resolved 17/75

26 ADAPT When searching for a user in the CMC after highlighting the Group Hierarchy, only users and subgroups are returned. The parent group is not displayed in the search results. ADAPT Advanced search does not work correctly if the user does not have the rights to "Do a content search." This issue is resolved. ADAPT Logging on to InfoView may take a long time (more than 20 seconds) if reverse-dns lookup is not possible. The reverse-dns lookup during logon can be disabled by defining "bobje.disable_audit_ip_lookup" as a Java system property on the web application server. For example, for the default Tomcat application server, in the Tomcat configuration, under the Java tab in the Java Options, add the following: -Dbobje.disable_audit_ip_lookup Apply the changes and restart Tomcat. ADAPT The CMS is crashing randomly on a system with several nodes. There are CMS terminations on random nodes of the cluster. This problem is rresolved. The CMS does not crash any more. 18/75

27 ADAPT In InfoView, the color of text changes from one language locale setting to another. When the language locale is set to English, text is displayed in black. When the locale is set to Japanese, text is blue. ADAPT Auditor reports may be empty and files may fail to be written to the audit database. In addition, audit text files are not cleared from the audit directory. The detail value is written to the database and the audit file is cleared as expected. In addition to this fix, the Detail field can be adjusted to accept more characters. The command line parameter is - auditor_maxdetaillength <value>. The value can be set to a maximum of ADAPT In the Central Management Console (CMC), when copying an object title that contains multiple byte characters or special characters, an error message appears. This problem happens when Sybase SQL Anywhere is used as the Central Management Server (CMS) database. ADAPT When deleting a report instance from the Report History folder, the instance fails to be deleted, and the following error message appears: "ERROR: An error has occurred:string was not recognized as a valid DateTime." 19/75

28 ADAPT The installation of SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise on RedHat bit fails with the error message: "Your system is missing required components (STU00120):..Missing patch: libxext el6.x86_64..missing patch: libxext-devel el6.x86_64" The problem is resolved. ADAPT After upgrading to SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 3.1 FixPack 5.2, when a structure for a universe is refreshed, the measures that have dimensional attributes in the key figures folder are removed. This problem happens with universes that are based on SAP Business Warehouse. ADAPT The axis2.xml file in the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Web Services provider (dswsbobje) is insecure. This problem is resolved To ensure the server is up and running, we recommend that customers upgrading from previous patches follow the steps detailed in the Knowledge Base Article (Web Intelligence Processing Server goes to 'Failed' status when starting). SAP BusinessObjects Live Office ADAPT When Live Office for SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Xl 3.1 is used in SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Release 4, Web Intelligence documents and Excel files cannot be imported into Live Office. ADAPT A universe query in Live office fails to retrieve data the first time a query is imported into Excel. ADAPT When you change the height of a row in a Web Intelligence report and then insert the report into a Microsoft Word document using Live Office, the row height returns to its default value. The row height in Word is the same as the height in Web Intelligence. 30/75

39 ADAPT If you attempt to refresh multiple prompts with that same prompt name, the following message appears: ORA-01722: invalid number ADAPT Live office cannot resolve any HTTP or HTTPS WebServices URLs on a machine that runs Windows 7. ADAPT Dashboard Design fails to work when two versions of Live office (BusinesObjects Enterprise XI version 3.1 and Business Intelligence 4.0) are installed on one machine, despite installing an LA FixPack that addresses this problem. ADAPT The Web Intelligence document location is not updated even though the location changed in BOE. The location of Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, and Universe documents is updated in Live Office when it is changed in BOE. ADAPT When a Live Office object based on Web Intelligence content is inserted into PowerPoint, the bottom border may fail to appear. This solution does not apply for tables consisting of only one column. 31/75

41 ADAPT In.NET InfoView, when a Web Intelligence document is saved in CSV format, some objects in the report, such as filters, sorts, are not saved. Just all data in the Data Provider is saved. ADAPT In a Web Intelligence document, in a block containing filters and with the report filter activated on an object in the block, smart measures in a table are replaced by an #UNAVAILABLE error. ADAPT When you try to create a multi-language document in Web Intelligence or try to refresh a multi-language document in InfoView created by the Web Intelligence Rich Client application, the language reverts back to English. ADAPT In the Rich Internet Application, if you change the Product locale to Portuguese, then in a document, operators like "Top" or "Bottom" used in the formulas show up as "????" in a table column. ADAPT When you refresh a Web Intelligence document with prompts and enter 2-byte (eg: Japanese or Chinese) wide character values in the prompt dialog box, the "Run Query" button is grayed out and the values entered are not visible in the prompt dialog box. 33/75

42 ADAPT When you migrate a Web Intelligence document from BOE XI R2 to XI 3.1 and open it in Web Intelligence in Design mode, some cell lines in tables are invisible. ADAPT In a Web Intelligence document opened in the Web Intelligence Web interface, empty values are not managed properly in the Input Controls tab. ADAPT Computation errors are returned in Web Intelligence when a user double-clicks the cell of a table to re-size it or after a user drags and drops rows or columns. ADAPT In the Japanese version of the Web Intelligence Web interface, the "Show rows with empty measures" option is incorrectly translated. 43 ADAPT If the Last Selected Values are purged from a Web Intelligence document in Business Objects XI 3.1 SP4 or above, predefined filters using Persistent do not display default values in the User Prompt Input pane. ADAPT In the Rich Internet Application, when you click the close (X) icon when the application session has timed out, a "Server Error in '/InfoViewApp' application" error page appears. The problem is resolved. A proper error message appears that says the session has expired. ADAPT In the Web Intelligence Web interface, in a document opened in Edit mode, an incorrect page layout is displayed after a session timeout is restored. ADAPT In a Web Intelligence document open in the Web Intelligence Web interface, where the Preferred Viewing Locale is set to German, when you click the "add simple report filter" icon in the Filter Bar toolbar, the classes shown appear in English, instead of German. ADAPT Adding quick filters to a Web Intelligence report via.net deployment does not work when report variables are added to the report. 35/75

44 ADAPT The results from a refreshed LOV do not always respect the Web Intelligence Processing Server "Maximum List Of Values Size" setting. ADAPT A RunningSum formula defined with a WHERE clause on a block of objects does not show correct value when an object is removed from the block. ADAPT In a Web Intelligence report, in a crosstab table row, the ForceMerge() function multiplies values by the number of values associated to the object that is used in the function. ADAPT In the Rich Internet Application opened in the Internet Information Services (IIS), when you export a Web Intelligence document to the csv format, a carriage return (\r) is inserted at the end of each line. 45 ADAPT In the Web Intelligence Rich Client, if the universe is not stored in a default universe folder, the Query Panel shows Unknown for the Universe Path in the "Used Universes" section. This patch does not apply to changed sources. In that case, the query needs first to be run in order to display the correct path in the list of Used Universes. ADAPT An unknown error occurs when you publish a Web Intelligence report block as a web service from the Favorites folder. ADAPT In the Query Panel for a document open in the Web Intelligence Web interface, the list of values for the Query Filters box shows result of a previous object instead of "No value". ADAPT In the Web Intelligence Web interface, when you change the query universe to set new properties in the Query Panel, the option Apply changes into all document queries sharing the same universe is not available. ADAPT After you upgrade from XI 3.1 SP3 to XI 3.1 SP5, a Web Intelligence report using the 'Extend Merged Dimension values' option shows incorrect values. 37/75

46 ADAPT A truncated message is displayed in the Portuguese version of the Query as a Web Service main screen. ADAPT An Excel file based on an exported Web Intelligence document containing multiple embedded sections shows object names instead of values. ADAPT After you upgrade from XI 3.1 SP 2.5 to SP 5.2, a Web Intelligence report may not open in InfoView (BI launch pad), and an Error:INF message appears instead. ADAPT In XI 3.1 SP5 and subsequent fixpacks, cells that appeared as null in a Web Intelligence report now show the value of the row above. 38/75

47 ADAPT In AIX, when you try to open a Web Intelligence document in an Fixpack 5.3 environment, InfoView (BI launch pad) hangs and the document does not open. The Web Intelligence Processing Server appears to go into a state where it takes up all available CPU and never stops. This requires a restart of the service. In Windows, when you try to open the same document in a Fixpack 5.3 environment: In the Web Intelligence Web interface, the following error message appears: This document does not contain any reports. (Error: INF) In the Rich Internet Application, if you trying to edit the same document, the report opens to a blank page. If you switch to "View Structure", the following error message appears: Unable to get the first page of the current report - Web Intelligence will switch to structure view (WIJ 20003) ADAPT When you upgrade a Web Intelligence document to XI 3.1 FixPack 4.2, data results in the reports can be incorrect. ADAPT When you upgrade a Web Intelligence document to BOE XI 3.1 SP5 FP3, incorrect results appear in the reports, along with some missing values for calculated measure objects. ADAPT In the Interactive viewer in InfoView, when you try to view a Web Intelligence report in PDF format, the popup window disappears very quickly or does not appear, showing only a blank frame for a long time. 39/75
