This Version was tested with PAL3 Firmware Version Supports PAL3 Dual Head. Big changes in the scheduler for maximum efficiency with two heads: Independent tasks can be scheduled in parallel, and there can be parallel passages within a method using the new ScheduledAfter property. LeftHead GC Liquid Injection_General_Rev1 and RightHead_GC Liquid Injection_General_Rev1 example methods for PAL3 Dual Head (see chapter 15 in the user manual for more information). Schedule calculation has become much faster, especially for very long sample lists. Measured execution times for tasks are used as an improved estimate for following tasks of the same kind with similar parameters. The schedule will be re-calculated whenever a task doesn't match the anticipated runtime or the task is disabled by a {jit: expression}. Inline scripting allows you to use Lua instead of VB.NET expressions for much better performance. You can write a sample list as CSV using the normal save dialog. 1

2 Improvements GC MassHunter acquisition did not validate instrument name and method. The Xcalibur export searched for the sample list template in the wrong folder. Updated task descriptions in the user manual. 2

8 Version ( ) This version works solely with PAL3 Firmware Version 1.5.x. Fixed issues Setting temperature values for trays did not work correctly. LC injectors were not approached properly when used as a destination for the transfer task. Overhauled the communication with B series GC/LC Chemstation. Comparing snapshots of the installed modules made the program crash. Printing methods did not work. Masterlab 3 was not detected correctly if it had been started before. Large volume solvent stations were not imported automatically. Characters outside the ASCII set were not transmitted to Chemstation. Copy/Paste in the sample list could lead to a program crash if checkbox cells were involved. The AcquisitionTask hung when trying to start sequences with newer MassHunter versions. Did not work with ChromPerfect Improvements Printing settings in the method, schedule summary and version snapshot printing dialogs will be remembered. New parameter DispenseDelay allows to avoid bubble aspiration during fill strokes. Sequence export to B series GC/LC Chemstation will try to automatically migrate the sequence data to the new sequence container format. Made the communication with Clarity more robust. 8
