2 5 MassTransit 5.0 Quick Start Guide Professional and Enterprise Servers (Windows) This guide provides the essential steps for using MassTransit on a Windows server. Before you get started, please make sure you have properly installed MassTransit 5.0 and My SQL. The Installation Guide for Windows is available at: /resources/mtinstallationforwindows.pdf For detailed configuration instructions, see the MassTransit Users Manual PDF included with the MassTransit download installer or on the CD. 3 Step Thirteen: Step One: Go to the Contacts window, click to select the new contact and click Connect. 9 To start the MassTransit Engine, go to Administrative Tools and open the Services panel. Verify that both MassTransit and MySQL services exist and are started. Step Fourteen: Step Two: Go to the toolbar and click Log to verify that the connection succeeded. Start MySQL and MassTransit services if they are not already started. 2

6 Step Six: The MassTransit Administrator will connect to the MassTransit Engine and will be ready to accept initial configurations. Step Seven: To create an Incoming Call Method, select the Setup button from the toolbar, then click the Incoming Calls tab and Add button. 5

7 Step Eight: From the Method menu, select TCP/IP and accept the default TCP/IP port. Click OK to save all configurations. Step Nine: From the toolbar, click Status to verify that the new listen is active. 6

11 Step Fifteen: Return to the Contacts window, select the new contact and click the Reveal Mailbox button. A Windows Explorer view will be displayed, exposing the mailbox folder hierarchy MassTransit automatically created for this contact. Copy or move one or more files into the To Send folder. Then go back to the Contacts window and click Connect. Step Sixteen: From the toolbar, click the Status button. You will be able to see the file transfers in progress. 10
