2 Purpose The purpose of this project is to integrate the HouseLogix Honeywell Integration Module (HHIM) with Control4. This will allow users of the integration module to seamlessly operate a supported security system from within the Control4 home automation environment. Control4 provides a set of rich and robust user interfaces with industry standard presentations of security system control. Supported Security Systems The current version of the HHIM driver includes support for the following security systems: VISTA-21iP VISTA-128BPT Series/VISTA Turbo Series VISTA-250BPT/VISTA Turbo VISTA-10P VISTA PLUS Series VISTA-10SE VISTA-15 VISTA-15P VISTA PLUS Series VISTA-20P VISTA PLUS Series VISTA-20PUL Commercial VISTA-50PUL VISTA-20SE VIA-30PSE VISTA-128B VISTA-128BP Series VISTA-40 VISTA-50P VISTA-250BP First Alert FA-168C and other First Alert rebranded panels Driver Properties The HHIM includes several, configurable properties used for integration. The properties are listed in the table below. Property Keypad Address 1 99 / 1 Range / Default Description Numeric address of the keypad. When the driver is initially connected, the current keypad address is retrieved. Page 2 of 5

When set, zone bindings are created and persisted in the Connections area of Composer. Number of relays to activate on the system. When set, relay bindings are created and persisted in the Connections area of Composer. Enable or disable the timer. The purpose of the timer is to ping the HHIM to maintain a communication channel. Length of time (in minutes) before the watch dog status is set in programming. Note: setting repeating timers to expire too quickly can deplete system resources, thus decreasing performance. Set debug level. Print displays output to the Lua console and Log displays output to the system log. Once enabled, debugging expires after 15 minutes. Displays whether or not the driver is registered. The driver is largely disabled when not registered. Supported Functionality The following table represents the HHIM commands and responses that are supported in the current version of the Control4 driver. 4 Note: the configuration command/response has additional parameters that aren t utilized for Control4 integration. Control4 Programming Interaction Control4 users may interact with a security system connected via the HHIM in a number of ways. The table below specifies all possible interactions that the current version of the driver supports.
