Online Banking Initial Log In Instructions Go to www.riverbankandtrust.com and enter your username: Ex JaneDoe 1
Step 1: Enter your existing login ID: Step 2: Enter security code: username + last 4 of SSN (or EIN). Ex JaneDoe1111 2
Step 3: Create User Name (can be existing or new) and create a new password: Step 4: Set up security questions and answers: 3
Step 5: Set up Personal Phrase and Image: Step 6: Answer security question that you just created: 4
Step 7: Enter Password you just created: Step 8: Set up Out of Band Authentication: The system will automatically direct you to the Security Devices tab when you log in for the first time. You will not be able to proceed past this point until you successfully set up your security device. 5
In order to continue, you will need to click the Start Enrollment Process button If you already have an existing device, you can add another by going to the following tab: Settings>> Security>> Security Devices. Step 1: Set up Device Fill out the information that corresponds to your phone. Step 2: Verify Device Click Text Me or Call Me If you do not have a mobile device, or if your mobile device can't receive a text, You will be prompted to enter a telephone number to receive an automated voice call. 6
Enter the code that was provided in the text or phone call and then click Verify Device. Step 3: DUO App Link & Activation Link (Optional download) Duo Mobile is a 3rd party app, created by Duo Security Inc., which provides easy, one-tap authentication of push notifications from River Bank & Trust. No more passcodes. No more automated voice calls. THIS PROCESS DOES NOT INSTALL RIVER BANK & TRUST'S MOBILE BANKING APP. DUO MOBILE IS A SEPARATE APP USED TO AID IN THE AUTHENTICATION PROCESS. If you don t have time at this moment, or if you choose not download the Duo Mobile app, click Skip this Step. 7
Click "OK" to finish the Out of Band enrollment process. If you choose to proceed with installing and activating the Duo Mobile app (not the River Bank app), follow these instructions for the "Install and Activation" links sent through text message. From the Step 3 graphic above (Install Duo Mobile), Click Text Me. Follow the link in the text message to download the app and activate it. This text message will take you to either itunes or Google Play to download the Duo Mobile app. This is NOT the River Banking App. This text message provides the activation link to activate the Duo Mobile app. **Note: Once App is installed, you will need to accept the License Agreement: 8
Once the App has been downloaded and activated, please click Complete Setup or you may click on Add Another Device. You should now see your device added in your Online Banking Settings >> Security>> Security Devices tab. The" Verified" and "Mobile App" sections should have a green checkmark, if the set up was successful. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUO MOBILE IS A 3RD PARTY APP. THIS IS NOT THE RIVER BANK & TRUST APP. When you open the Duo Mobile app, you will also find your River Bank & Trust key with our logo attached to it. Step 4: Login using the Duo Mobile app to authenticate. (Only applicable to users who downloaded the Duo Mobile app). From our website, log in: 9
Enter your Username: The system will prompt you for Out of Band Authentication (the security device you previously set up): 1. You will then select either Mobile App Push, Phone Call, or Passcode. a. Mobile App Push This will only appear if you have successfully installed and verified the Duo Mobile App. Make sure that the Mobile App Push radio button is selected then click Submit. Open the Duo Security app and either APPROVE or DENY the request. b. Phone call If you select the radio button for the phone call option, you will receive a phone call once you click submit. Pressing any button on your keypad will confirm the authentication. If you hang up or do not respond in a timely manner, your authentication will be rejected. c. Text Passcode When you click on Send Passcodes via Text Message, the system will generate a text with a passcode(s) that you will use when the Passcode radio button is selected. Once the passcode is entered in the box, click Submit. 10
