Secure Wi-Fi protects on all Wi-Fi networks any time and anywhere. This means you can securely email, browse and stream at airports, coffee shops or on any Wi-Fi network with or without a password. This user guide is designed to help you install and configure the Secure Wi-Fi app on your or device. It also provides helpful tips. The default settings are established. Your company administrator will provide additional direction if changes are needed. Installation and How to Turn on the App 1. Tap the Secure Wi-Fi icon on your device to open the home screen. 2. Toggle the switch to ON or OFF. 3. You ll be prompted to create a VPN connection. Tap OK to continue. 1. Ensure you are connected to the Sprint cellular network. 2. Visit the App Store to download Secure Wi-Fi. Follow the instructions to install the free app on your device. You may be asked to enter your itunes password. This won t result in a charge. 3. Tap the Secure Wi-Fi icon on your device home screen. 4. Toggle the switch to ON or OFF. 5. Consumer Purchase ONLY If you have a business account and see this screen, please STOP. This screen is for consumer users. Contact your company administrator to verify you re activated for the business service. If you re a business user and buy 24-hour Secure Wi-Fi or Full-time Secure Wi-Fi, your personal Apple account may be billed. 1. If you accidentally buy the 24-hour or Full-time service with your personal Apple account, please click Unsubscribe. This will stop future charges to your personal itunes account. Secure Wi-Fi Alerts Public Automatically turns on when connected to a network that doesn t require a password. Prompts appear after connecting to Wi-Fi if a log-in or password is needed. Password-Protected Alert will ask if you want to: 1. Add security: Automatically activates during future sessions on that network. It s recommended that you choose the Add security option. 2. Proceed without: Screen will be dismissed. Continue without future prompts for this network. Public Automatically turns on when connected to a network that doesn t require a password.
