UNSW Apply Online agent homepage Counsellor manual Part A: Requesting access STEP 1 Go to applyonline.unsw.edu.au/ agent-login and click Register Now STEP 2 At the following screen, accept Terms & Conditions and then slide the bar across. Page 1
STEP 3 Enter your Agency name, and select the correct branch from the drop-down list. Enter your personal information as a counsellor, choose a password, then click Submit. Page 2
STEP 4 The Pending activation page is displayed as below. An email will be sent by the system to your agency administrator to advise that you have initiated an access request. Click Logout. When your agency administrator has authorised your access as a counsellor, you will be able to log in and use the agent homepage. Once counsellors have been granted access by the agency administrator, they can log in to the new agent homepage. Go to applyonline.unsw.edu.au/agent-login Log in, selecting your agent name and office, entering the email address and password you set-up during the counsellor registration steps. Agree to the Terms and Conditions, and then click Login. Page 3
Part B: Using the new agent homepage Starting a new application STEP 1 Click the relevant Start New Application button, depending on the type of program the student wishes to apply for (undergraduate, postgraduate or research). A pop-up will appear. Click Create a new application Page 4
STEP 2 Enter the student s personal details then click Save & Continue. STEP 3 Enter specific application information then click Save & Continue. Page 5
STEP 4 At the sponsorship page, if the student has an approved sponsorship arrangement, enter information as required, otherwise select No; then click Save & Continue. STEP 5 Enter information about the student s academic qualifications, and then click Save & Continue. Page 6
STEP 6 Enter further information about the student in this page, including whether the student was given a waiver code at an information event, and English proficiency information. Most students will not be required to enter employment, other qualification or referee information. Click Save & Continue. STEP 7 A summary page will be displayed showing application information for this student. Check that the information you have entered is complete and correct, and then click Complete. Page 7
STEP 8 The page for uploading supporting documents will be shown, listing all the items that will be required to assess the application. Where documents are ready for upload, click Add, then upload the relevant document to each checklist button. If you are still waiting for supporting documents to be provided by the student, these can be uploaded at a later date through the same agent homepage. You will need to search for the student s application, and then upload the documents accordingly. When all available documents have been uploaded, click Submit. Page 8
STEP 9 At the final screen, click Finish. STEP 10 At the homepage, you will be able to search and view applications that have been submitted. You will be able to see the status of an application, upload additional documents, and view notifications. Check the Application Progress column for the status of an application. Page 9
Attaching subsequent Documents Once the application has been received by the UNSW Admissions team, the paperclip icon will appear at the right of the student s application record, and subsequent documents can be attached by clicking the paperclip. Click Continue. Page 10
