This User Guide contains information that can help you navigate through your professional development session. The Table of Contents, found on the left of your screen, allows you to navigate to the major elements of this session. The first link brings you back to the interactive content portion of your session. The Final Quiz link will allow you to take the exam, once you are ready. Below the Table of Contents, you will find the link to the Discussion Forum. You are encouraged to use this forum to connect with your fellow learners. You may post your thoughts and questions regarding the session content. There are various points within the content portion of this session where you will be encouraged to answer and discuss specific questions. You also have available to you a personal Learning Journal, which is found just below the link to the Discussion Forum. You can use this Learning Journal to take notes or reflect on the content of the course. This Learning Journal is available to you throughout the system. You can also access this Learning Journal by clicking on your profile. To return to the main page of your professional development session, click the Course link at the top of your page. To access your personal profile, including your course transcript and your learning journal entries, click on your name at the top or bottom of your screen.

Browser must not be in Quirks mode *Google Chrome does not support bookmarking at this time. If you view the course in a Google Chrome browser and leave the course, when you return, you will not resume your learning on the page you left. Please use the navigational features of the course to resume where you left off. **See following pages for help disabling compatibility view and quirks in Internet Explorer. The Course and Learning Management System will not display correctly in Internet Explorer if the browser is in compatibility view or quirks mode.
Internet Explorer Users Special Considerations To remove compatibility view from default settings: 1. Click tools button located on the menu bar, as shown below. => If you do not see the menu bar at the top of your browser, right click on the top portion of your browser window and click the Menu bar option.
2. Click Compatibility View settings as shown below
3. Uncheck the box next to Display all websites in Compatibility View.
To disable compatibility view temporarily: 1. Click the gear shaped tools button located on the menu bar and select F12 developer tools 2. At the top of the developer tools window select the latest version of IE listed under the Browser Mode category. Make sure that the option ending in Compatibility View is not selected. Recommendation: Select the latest version of Internet Explorer available.
To disable quirks document mode: 1. Click the gear shaped tools button located on the menu bar, and select F12 developer tools 2. In the developer tools window, click on Document Mode and select Standards
