Coectig to a CDMA or GSM etwork. You will receive a SIM Card oce you subscribe to a global service pla or feature from Verizo Wireless. The global features ad SIM Card allow your device to be properly cofigured for global roamig services, which eables you to access a GSM etwork. Whe you isert the SIM Card, your device is desiged to switch automatically to global roamig mode. I global roamig mode, your device is desiged to coect automatically to a appropriate CDMA or GSM etwork whe travelig. Whe the SIM Card is removed, your global device scas oly for CDMA etworks. If you switch betwee a CDMA etwork ad a GSM etwork, the phoe umber for your device remais the same. Makig a call. Callig iteratioally while i GSM mode. You ca tell that you are i a GSM market by a GSM or GPRS ico i the upper right-had corer of the display. 1. I stadby mode, press ad hold 0 to display the + symbol. To isert the card, please do the followig: 1. Press the battery cover release butto. 2. Slide off the battery cover. 3. If the battery is iserted, remove the battery. 4.
