Figure 8 illustrtes the typicl Motor Test Screen tht ppers when the "Trnsport motor Forwrd" test Screen Button is selected. A flshing Yellow LED indictes correct speed A constntly lit Yellow LED indictes n incorrect speed. Stcker motor Forwrd This test cycles the Stcker Motor (See Figure 7 b). A flshing Yellow LED indictes correct Motor speed occurred. A constntly lit Yellow LED indictes n incorrect Stcker Motor speed occurring. Cycle Test This test performs full trnsport/stcking cycle of the ivizion Unit (See Figure 7 c). Norml opertion is indicted when the Test LED remins OFF. An error condition is indicted by flshing Red LED. If this condition occurs, refer to the Opertionl Errors Tble to resolve the error (See Tble 10 on Pge 23). Sensor ON/OFF Check This test performs functionl test of ech ivizion Unit Sensor (See Figure 7 d nd Figure 9). Block ech Sensor to test it. The Disply with show "ON" or "OFF" indicting the functionl sttus of the specific Sensor blocked. Disply Check This test cycles the LED Disply on the right side of the ivizion Unit (See Figure 7 e). The LEDs will continuously cycle through Red, Green & Blue colors. Figure 8 Typicl ivizion Trnsport Motor Test Screen Figure 9 ivizion Sensor ON/OFF Test Screen CALIBRATION WHEN TO CALIBRATE Sensors in the ivizion Unit re self-clibrting. However, JCM recommends tht the ivizion Sensors be clibrted s prt of n Annul Preventive Mintennce Procedure. NOTE: If the Processor Bord or ny of the Sensors require replcement, the ivizion will require re-clibrtion. CALIBRATING THE IVIZION UNIT To clibrte n ivizion Unit, proceed s follows: 1. Plce the ivizion into Mintennce Mode (DIP Switch No. 8 ON). 2. Apply power to the ivizion Unit. 3. Connect the ivizion to the PC using USB Mle 'A' to Mini-B USB Cble. 4. Open the JCM Tool Suite Appliction. 5. Click the "Service Mode" dropdown Menu, then select "Sensor Adjustment" (Figure 12 ). 6. On the ivizion Clibrtion Appliction, click on the "Strt" Figure 12 JCM Tool Suite ivizion Clibrtion Screen Screen Button, nd follow the screen instructions to complete the clibrtion process. NOTE: Two Clibrtion Reference Ppers exist for use with n ivizion Unit. The KS- 072 Pper is for use with the ivizion Hed without Bill Guides instlled; The KS-089 Pper is required if the ivizion Hed Bill Guides re instlled; but will lso work on Units without Bill Guides. Refer to Section 6 of the ivizion Opertion nd Mintennce Mnul (JCM P/N 960-100929R) for detils concerning dditionl clibrtion procedures. NOTE: If errors occur during clibrtion, refer to Tble 11 on Pge 23 for Clibrtion Error Codes. Prt No. 960-100927R_Rev. 4 10 Prt No. 960-100927R_Rev. 4 15

SOFTWARE UPDATING JCM TOOL SUITE APPLICATION The JCM Tool Suite Appliction is used to updte softwre in n ivizion Unit. To updte softwre in n ivizion Unit, proceed s follows: 1. Connect USB Cble contining Mini-B USB connector t one end to its mting receptcle locted on the left front side of the ivizion Unit being updted. 2. Then connect the opposite end contining Stndrd USB connector to n open, unused USB Port on the PC contining the JCM Tool Suite Appliction. 3. Open the JCM Tool Suite Appliction. 4. Click on "Downlod" in the "Service Mode" drop-down Menu. The screen shown in Figure 11 will pper. Dipsw ON/OFF Check This selection tests the functionl opertion of ech DIP Switch locted on the Trnsport Assembly s 8-position DIP Switch Block (See Figure 7 f). 1. Turn ll DIP Switches ON to perform the DIP Switch Test. All DIP Switches should indicte "ON". 2. Remove the Trnsport. 3. Chnge the settings for DIP Switches 1 through 7 to "OFF". Leve DIP Switch 8 "ON". 4. Restore the Trnsport. 5. Re-run the test. DIP Switches 1 through 7 should indicte "OFF". b c Figure 11 JCM Downloder Suite Edition 5. Click the "Browse" button (Figure 11 ) to locte the downlod file desired. Click on the file to be downloded so it ppers in the "File" field (Figure 11 b), then click on the "Downlod" Screen Button (Figure 11 c). Prt No. 960-100927R_Rev. 4 14 Prt No. 960-100927R_Rev. 4 11

CLEANING AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE Proper clening is criticl to mintining high cceptnce rte on n ivizion Unit. Clen ll Sensors shown in Figure 10 using dry, lint free cloth ONLY. The identity of ech Sensor is listed in Tble 4 on pge 13 of this document. NOTE: Do not use Alcohol, Solvents, Citrus Bsed Cleners or Clening Crds on n ivizion Unit. Use of these compounds will dmge the Unit s Lens Surfces. DO NOT use JCM Clening Crds intended for use with the UBA or WBA Units either, the clening solution on them is not comptible with the ivizion Unit s Sensors. g h Hidden d q j Hidden c e f b o p l m n k SENSOR IDENTIFICATION Tble 4 identifies the purpose of ech Sensor locted in Figure 10 on pge 12 of this document.
