Downloading APP from APP Store

To install the application AD Self Service Plus go to your app store Fig1 and search for manageengine ADSelfService fig2, it is a free App so you won t be charged for it. Once installed, look for the new app and click on it to enter.

Configuration Once inside the application you will see a screen similar as Fig1 here you need to click on Server settings. Type the settings exactly like in fig2 Enable HTTPS ON Server Name or IP Address ssp.ka-group.com Port - 443 then click on Done in the upper right corner of the screen. If you are successful you will be sent back to the home screen (fig1).

Enrollment using Security Q&A Once you entered the server settings you need to enroll to the server, this will authenticate you on the server so you can be able to reset your password, click on Enroll. On the next screen (fig2) type in your KA user name and current password, make sure you use koa\username to authenticate.

After you have entered a valid username and password you will see a screen like the one in fig3, you need to answer all 3 questions so you can enroll, in the future this 3 questions will be asked in order to authenticate so you need to remember them.

Enrollment using Verification Code For verification code enrollment, just click on the Verification Code Tab on the top of the app, and enter an alternate (Non ka-group.com) email to send the code to, when you finish entering the requested info just click the enroll on the upper right corner of the app. If you are successful you will receive a message like the one in Fig 2

Enrollment using Google Authenticator Ensure both the Manage Engine and Google Authenticator apps are installed from the App store. https://itunes.apple.com/vc/app/manageengine-adselfservice/id731391592?mt=8 https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/google-authenticator/id388497605?mt=8 Open the Manage Engine AD Self Service App and Click on Server Settings: Ensure Enable HTTPS is ON Server name or IP address is ssp.ka-group.com Port - 443 You should then see the Kongsberg logo appear. From here select Login

Enter your Windows Username and Password On the enrolment screen select the Google Authenticator tab

Copy the secret key and open the Google authenticator app Click begin setup from the Google authenticator app Click Manual entry Enter an account name Paste the secret key Click on the tick

Enter the 6 digit code in the AD Self Service App and click enroll You will receive the following message confirming enrollment

Unlocking/Resetting Your Password Once you have enrolled you are now ready to utilize the app to change or unlock your account. Account unlock.- click on the Account unlock button on the main screen, on the next screen enter your username(fig2) then click next on the upper right corner of the screen.

On the next screen select Verification code to email and choose the email you have entered on your enrollment to receive an email containing a validation code to reset/unlock your password, after you have selected an email click on next on the upper right corner of the screen; on the next screen you will see a message like the one in Fig4. You will receive a message from noreply@kaselfservice.com. The message will contain the code you need to validate your Identity on the server (fig1), copy the code and paste on the app, when succeed you can now proceed to unlock your account (fig2)

If you selected the security Q&A enrollment process instead of copy and paste a security code you will have to answer 3 questions exactly as you did when you enroll to proceed. Note: Please allow up to 15 minutes for your changes to replicate across servers Password Reset.- Use this option if you want to change your password for a new one, to do this first you need to click on Password Reset button and enter your username on the next screen (fig2) click Next on the upper right corner of the screen to go to the next screen.

On the next screen select Verification code to email and choose the email you have entered on your enrollment to receive an email containing a validation code to reset/unlock your password, after you have selected an email click on next on the upper right corner of the screen; on the next screen you will see a message like the one in Fig2. Resetting your Password or Unlocking your account using Google Authenticator From the Manage Engine Self Service App please select Password reset Enter your windows username (firstname.surname) Open the Google authenticator app Enter the 6 digit code into the Self service app

You will then see the password reset prompt. Please enter a new password and confirm the password keeping the password policy requirements in mind. **Please follow the same process for unlocking your account**
