1 3d Kitchen Version 11 Updates/Developments (November 2017) 3d Kitchen Improvments:- Note: You may already have some of the follow features depending on what release number you'r currently on? Release Version New cabinet patterns (existing ones will be left there) 2. New object material creation function 3. Remove some obsolete objects and patterns - updated in version New items for group objects for taps etc. for plumbing and bathroom categories, toilets, towel racks, etc. 5. New Saving costing and production files method (this is now the same as the CNC saving files option) - please note the old Save Files function is no longer available as it was failing with the new software and has been removed. Note: Clients using the old save function, your saved files will no longer be accessible. 10. New function "Manual Enter" manually enter or modify cabinets in costing/production 11. New features in print 2D and 3D to turn on/off job name, comments, date, etc 12. Automatic setback of shelves. This means that when displaying cabinets with glass doors, the shelf will no longer display through the front of the door. 13. Material function to allow viewing inside cabinets - 3D and 2D ability 14. Change Drawer height output values so it allows for decimal values (eg: ) 15. Add new Top Loader washing machine (requested by several users) - this is located in the 6th group object category 16. Provision for "Solid Panels" to apply the new door profile functions. This will apply to Solid Panels placed on cabinets. To make these work correctly they must be created/modified in the cabinet editor to have Solid Panels "finished panel" on the main faces, with "interior panel" on opposite side and 16mm/18mm edges 17. Add new front loader washing machines 18. Add new wardrobe 3D items - clothing, racks, shoes, etc. 19. Allow font changes in floor plan to also apply to 2D views 20. Make provision for "Materials" to be applied to top/bottom light valance objects 21. Adjust Add/Modify components in costing module to apply quantity changes automatically (no need to "Update Part" when just changing quantities) 22. Add new material - "1 White" - this always gives true white colour 23. Add new material "2D" - when applied to cabinet door and drawers it allows customers to see through to shelves etc in both 2D and 3D views. This requires that cabinets have these drawn in place in the cabinet editor to start with. Please ask your 3D agent about the application of this. 24. Floor plan object outlines can now have colour changes 25. Add function to identify cabinet missing from construction during the import to costing procedure 26. Add function to prevent parts with ZERO quantities from being passed to EnRoute - because EnRoute will process a zero value as if it has a quantity of Now any dialogue which has an apply button will also automatically apply changes simply by pressing the "Enter" key on the keyboard. Makes it a little quicker. 28. Change CNC output filename to now start with the "jobname" 1

New menu shortcut function = right click on any blank area in the design to bring up the "Add Menu" - this makes design quicker 31. Ability to remove cabinet tops and bottoms - especially useful for wardrobes as below 32. Enable tab button to move between data entry fields in design 33. Added in some Corbels to "DecorativeElements" - "_Corbel.." 34. When viewing individual drawer heights in design the drawer values are now permanently shown with 1 decimal place to make drawer heights more accurate (this saves having to change the entire design to decimal options) 35. Added new door profile options with names that represent the door type 36. Added preview function which shows what you are creating when creating or modifying door profiles 37. New 2D function "2D Layout" for allowing multiple views to be printed on a single A4 or A3 page 38. New 2D function allows free text to be placed on single/multiple view of plans, 2D and 3D 39. New 2D function allows users logo to be printed on plans, 2D and 3D 40. New 2D function to create single multipage documents using features as in #37, #38, # Options menu - "Head/Foot Printing" and "Identity" - this data now prints on the new 2D Printing function in the document footer. This data is saved with the design and will refresh on the document if changed. Click "Update Title" 42. New snapping function allowing objects to snap from the outside 43. All dialogues made wider so that file names and also file comments can be read fully without scrolling sideways 44. New Scene - Save and retrieve to/from any directory 45. Allow images in materials section to be stored as JPG instead of PNG - this creates much smaller files 46. Allow material patterns to be applied to top and bottom light valance areas Release Version Create new function to allow materials to be rotated - this can be applied to any design object and can also be applied to all cabinets using Scene Specifications - this means sharing/collaboration on designs with remote users is very simple 2

3 48. 2D Layout - allow images to be resized by clicking and dragging their corners - this allows infinite size manipulation 49. 2D Layout - export file will now only export as a PDF - we have removed the ability to export as graphics 50. New cutout "Counter" function - automatically creates cutout in counter top when adding 3D sinks, this allows sinks to be viewed automatically without the bench displaying through the middle of the sink 51. New function to allow automatic placement of toe kicks and benches to selected objects - objects must all be the same depth and height 52. Lighting - function to turn off lighting for 3D - this shows all objects of the same colour without shading so they are consistent 53. Lighting - all shading is permanently disabled in 2D - again so all objects are bright and consistent colour from all 4 sides 54. New items - there is a variety of newer 3D items such as new full depth 3D sinks 55. New items - 3D Man to help show scene perspective 56. New items - IKON sink range 57. New items - 3D lights 3d Kitchen Fixes:- Version Memory leaks - memory is now more efficiently released after functions use it. This was casuing some clients to crash after running the software for around 20 minutes or more. 2. View cabinet preview when browsing secondary libraries 3. View group objects and decorative items as solid objects when browsing the categories 4. Prevent open shelf units from creating a shelf setback 5. Allow designs to load even if cabinets have been removed/modified in cabinet libraries. Note: Clients DO NOT adjust existing cabinet dimensions in "Cabinet Editor" as this will cause problems with existing designs. All permanent cabinet modifications of existing cabinets must be done with the Global Changer (Contact your agent for help) 6. Adding preferences - stopped automatic adding of objects when viewing adding prefs. This sometimes added item to floor plan but they were invisible. 7. Material repeat error - fix material pattern squashing when panel width is less than 101mm 8. Finger pull pattern - fixed so that finger pull cabinets can have a material applied in design - and it views correctly 9. Relative position, selected cabinets - relative position MaxY was previously showing wrong vertical position. 10. Blank 3D - sometimes 3D window was blank and needed to be shut and re-opened to generate 3D correctly 11. Rotating group objects splitting apart - this works correctly now Version 11 >>>>>> the developments below will only be released as a paid upgrade - unless client is on support <<<<<< 12. Added measurements - lines were sometimes scrambled after re-opening a design with these in it 13. Remove error message when exporting jobs with hidden items 14. Fix 2D Printing function to refresh dialogue boxes correctly when updating across a network 15. Put in some missing scroll bars from several windows 16. Adjust image creation for floor plans to allow easier resizing when using with the new 2D Layout 3

4 function 17. Fix overlapping measurements in 2D where narrow objects are close together 18. Fix measurements in 2D being staggered incorrectly when viewed from the right or left side of the plan 19. Fix 2D Layout losing images and pages from multiple page documents 20. 3D Z fighting - where objects are close to each other 3D goes fuzzy 21. Cabinet outlines disappearing in 2D/3D 22. When adding measurements on an angle and typing them in the measurement was wrong 23. Upgrade message for the Cabinet Editor has been removed 24. Bench vertical radius - stop this from being applied to all edges - just apply to selected edge - requires client to open default counter in adding preferences - edit the counter (without making any changes) - then save the counter preference 25. Moving measurement objects - in some cases when moved these objects moved in the wrong direction 26. Measurement value error - when measurements were placed on an angle they were creating a value reflecting the disctance on both axes - they now reflect the correct straight-line value 27. Sometimes group objects split apart when moving or rotating 28.
