2 Video Mangement System MULTISEC The video management system MULTISEC is the ultimate solution to increase the safety of compact sites at the highest level and at an affordable price. The modular idea also arises from its unique stand-alone handling philosophy: Product independent operation allows integration of third supplier products without confronting the operator with technical specialities of different suppliers. The hybrid system processes analog camera signals as well as digital streams using different compression methods. This, of course, includes recording, viewing station, alarm processing, and sitemap. Management system: MULTISEC LX The video alarm management MULTISEC LX is the master of the digital video platform coordinating the distributed video management system. In addition, the control centre manages server access and all recordings. Finally, MULTISEC LX also serves as alarm management system and gateway to third-party systems (i.e. access controll, fire alarm and intrusion detection). Due to its distributed configuration the whole system achieves the highest degree in reliability and scalability. Navigationssystem: MULTISEC MS4GUI MULTISEC MS4GUI provides a central workstation with graphic user interface (GUI) consisting of layout and navigation area with video windows. In case of an event livestream and alarm-driven camera recording automatically show up in the navigation area avoiding time-consuming search for the required camera. Now the operator has an immediate overview about the occurring event and its history. The vectorized layout displays the monitored area and all cameras. Selecting the point-of-interest allows the operator 3D-control of the cameras directly in the layout. Now the system chooses the best camera(s) and directs them to the target area the camera rotation can be tracked on the layout. Alarms can be visualized with freely configurable alarm fields. Configurable symbols allow plain navigation within the layout and operation of additional features. MULTISEC MS4GUI also allows video display on more than one monitor for realization of small monitor walls. Server/Recorder MULTISEC Recorder is not only encoder and streamer, but also a recoder providing live streams and past streams in parallel (=research streams from the memory).

3 Ideal control of PTZ cameras User-friendly control 3D pan/tilt control option in master-slave mode Easy and intuitive pan/tilt control via the sitemap thanks to 3D control. Just click on the point of interest in the sitemap to automatically align the camera to the selected point. 3D control is optionally available in master/slave mode all relevant cameras are also aligned to the selected point. The user is thus provided with a quick view from multiple perspectives. Smooth inspection of routes with multiple cameras For every configuration, routes can be configured to be inspected by the pan/tilt units. The system thus provides virtual patrolling or an automatic panoramic view there is no need for you to control the cameras yourself. Automatic selection of best camera If automatic selection of the best camera is activated, the camera providing the optimal perspective is automatically selected by clicking on a point in the sitemap. Visual obstacles on the site are taken into account. The system selects a more distant camera if i.e. a tree or a building is between the point of interest and the closest camera. Dynamic alignment of pan/tilt camera icons in the sitemap If a pan/tilt unit is moved, the corresponding camera icon in the sitemap is rotated synchronously or the change of the opening angle of the lens is displayed. This gives you direct insight into what part of the site is currently covered by the camera. Quick export of video sequences MULTISEC allows you to easily and quickly mark sequences in a recording e.g. for export to a USB flash drive. The export speed is only limited by the transfer rate of the USB port not by the management system so long waits are a thing of the past.

4 User and alarm management with alarm log and configurable alarm fields in the sitemap The GUI consists of the sitemap and a navigation area with video windows. In the case of an event, the navigation area simultaneously shows the live stream as well as the area where the alarm was triggered. There is no need for a time-consuming search for the corresponding camera. The operator can instantly see where the alarm was triggered and what is going on. When an alarm is triggered, it can be visualized through freely configurable alarm fields. Configurable icons allow easy navigation in the sitemap and the use of additional features. H.264 / HD 1080p Funkwerk s full experience shows to advantage in the image quality. Especially digital video signals often have the problem of jerky images or a heavy pixelization in scenes with a lot of movement. As a matter of course, our customers working on projects in high-security areas enjoy smooth high-resolution images. This display quality is also provided by this compactclass system. Multiview window In the Multiview window, video monitors can be displayed in almost any arrangement. The layout is switched with a right-click on your mouse. In fullscreen mode you can thus set up a small monitor wall without the need for additional investment in hardware or configuration.
