4 SECTION VIDEO MONITORING AND DOCUMENTATION PART 1 GENERAL 1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS A. Drawings and general provtstons of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and other Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. 1.2 SUMMARY A. This Section includes administrative and procedural requirements for the following: 1. Preconstruction photographs and video. 2. Periodic construction photographs and video. B. Related Sections include the following: 1.3 USAGE RIGHTS 1. Division 1 Section Submittal Procedures for submitting photographic documentation. A. Obtain and transfer copyright usage rights from photographer or videographer to Owner for unlimited reproduction of photographic or video documentation. PART 2 PRODUCTS 2.1 CAMERA SPECIFICATIONS A. Contractor Contact Information 1. The Contractor shall provide a High Definition Megapixel Web Camera for users to remotely view the project on a secure connection via a network connection. The camera will provide a full view of the work area on the construction site. B. The Web Camera shall meet or exceed the following requirements: 1. Thermostatically controlled enclosure with heater and blower 2. Powder coated aluminum housing with stainless steel fittings for padlocks 3. DSLR camera with 18 Megapixel images (5184 x 3456 pixels), APS-C Imager 4. Angle of view: wide 63 horizontal - 44 vertical, full zoom 22 horizontal 15 vertical 5. Auto Features: ISO speed, metering mode, white balance, and focus 6. Live video burst with instant live snapshot capability 7. EF-S 18mm-55mm f/ Image Stabilization STM lens 8. Professional photo grade lens window 9. Omni-directional power indicator lamp will illuminate green 10. Two UL rated compression glands, gas spring lid, adjustable camera sled 11. Multi SIM card support for mobile carrier diversity VAC, 230VAC or 12VDC Solar Power PART 3 EXECUTION 3.1 Online Web Interface: The Web Camera will function via a web based interface to allow the viewing of all High Definition still images captured and stored from any location with internet access. A. The Internet Based Online Web Interface shall include: 1. Responsive HTML5 design for cross-platform access on desktop and mobile devices 2. Company logo and project name 3. Project Dashboard for viewing and accessing multiple cameras 4. Real-time live video burst with instant live snapshot capability 5. Digital Pan, Tilt, and Zoom capability within a High Definition image 6. Timeline navigation system for selecting specific images and times 7. Automated image geotagging with camera location 8. Time-lapse feature with optional time date overlay for instant time-lapse viewing, downloading and embedding 9. Image Comparison Tool for overlaying two images from different dates and times for comparison 10. Share Image Tool for saving and ing 11. Current or historical local weather data 12. Map integration of GPS data showing camera location 13. Multiple website themes with option to personalize background 14. Administrative controls for the client, allowing them to customize public access page, including project name, camera name configuration and username management with three levels of password protection 3.2 Security and Management A. Access to account protected by Account Security feature which includes four levels of password protection, IP address block/permission and SSL protection of user login password. B. The system shall be capable of live video burst and shall capture and upload images every 30 minutes, 24 hours per day. C. The System Vendor will maintain images on their servers for reference available at all times during the life of the project and for no less than 60 days after completion. All images will be protected on secure fully redundant servers at multiple locations owned and operated by the System Vendor MG CET Video Monitoring and Documentation BWRPWA January 15, 2019

6 3.3 Contractor Requirements A. Jobsite Requirements 1. The Contractor shall secure a nearby structure for camera mounting or provide a fixed pole (40 foot height) and 3 inch minimum diameter as per System Vendor s instruction. The Contractor shall supply all equipment required for safe and secure access to the camera location for technicians performing installation and maintenance services, including building access, bucket truck and/or lift. The System Vendor will consult on and provide recommendations for optimal camera placement and provide professional installation services as required. B. Camera Maintenance 3.4 Deliverables 1. The Contractor shall provide all service and maintenance, including cleaning, of the camera system throughout the life of the project including making appropriate arrangements for camera to remain in operation up to and through finalization of all structural, landscaping and completed state condition necessary for beginning-to-end time-lapse record. A. Public Website 1. The System Vendor shall provide custom public website development. Website shall be separate from the Online Interface, match the look and colors of the project s website, and be delivered as embed code or standalone web page. Additional features include Facebook and Twitter integration, full screen mode, image comparison, weather, multiple logos, graphical background image and project description. B. End of Project 1. The System Vendor at the end of the project shall provide a comprehensive archive package that includes all images, historical weather data, computergenerated time-lapse movies and a royalty-free web-based viewer software. The software shall include the same interactive interface as the live camera during the project. C. End of Project Time-Lapse Movie 1. The System Vendor shall provide time-lapse movie(s) at the end of the project. Time-lapses shall be professionally edited by a video editor using image stabilization software. The movie will start with a graphic, incorporating project title, date and logo. Periods of bad weather or inactivity shall be removed to produce a compelling and consistent movie.
