3 MultiCard Markers for terminals DE WS ZS MultiFit The MultiCard concept is Weidmüller s standard for modern, innovative marking systems. With nearly 90 versions available, the MultiCard system offers markers for Weidmüller terminals, terminals of other makes, conductors and cables as well as devices and systems. The most notable features of this concept are the outstanding material properties and workmanship. 5 Terminal markers Weidmüller s various terminal markers help users to solve almost every labelling problem for all terminals. Whether for multi-digit labelling, ready printed markers with standard print or individual printer, white or coloured markers or group designations on the terminal strips, our comprehensive range of products meets all your labelling needs easily, quickly and clearly. The table overleaf shows which markers are suitable for the various terminal series. Selection is based on contact spacing. For example, the WDU 2.5 terminal has a contact spacing of 5 mm, and the WS 12/5 has a length of 12 mm and a contact spacing of 5 mm. The Weidmüller system can be used to mark whole terminal blocks strip by strip. To mark a terminal with a larger contact spacing (for example WDU 16), a smaller marker (such as WS 12/5) can be slotted on in addition. Most of the markers are compatible with each other. The two classical markers DE and WS come as ready printed markers. These markers are available in MultiCard format for self printing. MultiCard the concept for marking with SMark Laser, PrintJet, Plotter IP-220 or MC-Mobilo. Customers will find a small selection of samples in Weidmüller s sample bag of terminal markers, order no Weidmüller cannot guarantee product suitability in all possible customer applications on account of the huge range of possible applications in which products are exposed to many different ambient influences, such as moisture, radiation, gas or temperature. It is therefore up to the customer to carry out suitability tests for specific application purposes; Weidmüller will gladly provide advice and support upon request..5

8 Terminal markers dekafix (DE) The dekafix (DE) marker is the universal marker for all conductor connectors and plug-in connectors, as well as electronic assemblies. The system is especially suitable for short sequences of numbers and encompasses a wide range of ready prints. The strips are mounted quickly by clipping on in one simple procedure. The highcontrast print is easily legible and comes in 5 widths. 10 Terminal markers WS WS markers are ideally suited for terminals from the W-series. Owing to their system compatibility, WS tags can be used for both I-series and Z-series products. The large labelling surfaces can be used for long labelling sequences or broken down into several lines. WS markers are particularly suitable for labelling with long individual sequences of characters. The proven MultiCard format means they can be marked by laser, Print Jet, plotter or MC-Mobilo. Mounted in strips or individually Marker in proven MultiCard format ZS ZS markers in the proven MultiCard format have been developed specially for the Z-series. They provide a large labelling surface. The hinged mechanism allows even cross-connectors to be reached without having to dismantle the marker. Single tags can be clipped on in strips for fast mounting. The single tags are easily detached. The flexible hinge mechanism allows to assemble and disassemble cross-connections with low costs. It can be equipped with four DE 5 identification tags or two WS 10/5 Middle connector markers.
