These upgrades are conducted in July, The lower table shows the latest software version released at the end of July 2013.(The production will be started at the end of August.) This function allows you to dewarp the fisheye images. Download Fisheye Distortion Correction library from web and install it in the designated folder. 6 ND400 SD memory card backup for H.264 recording by 360-degree camera. This function enables 360-degree camera to backup H.264 recording by SD memory card as the same way as other i-pro Smart HD cameras. (Previous version handles JPEG only) 7 Advanced VBR mode of the camera. Setting menu of advanced VBR is added to the transmission priority of a camera. You can set the transmission priority by only when the camera is registered at first time to avoid the unexpected change. 8 Sequential display interval Add 3-sec. to the switching interval (sequence display )at live monitor.

You can use the face matching function and the statistical processing function when you install additional Business Intelligence kit (WJ-NVF20). 8 8 The face matching function Change installation of NVF20. Before V2.1 Purchase NVF20 Get the license key Input the license key. After V2.10 Purchase NVF20 Get the license key Preparation to install NVF20. Input the license key. NVF20 is automatically installed. Download the NVF20 (NVF20.ext) from website bellow. Procedure 1. Copy it to the directory on SD card. (SD card): PRIVATE MEIGROUP PSS NVR EXT_SOFT 2. Insert SD card to.

11 11 The Dual Recording Function Difference of mirroring and dual recording The dual recording function records same data into 2-HDD at same time. You can not restore the data after changing HDD which is damaged by trouble or something. 12 12 The Dual Recording Function How to set up Select Dual mode from Change the operation of HDD submenu.

13 13 The Dual Recording Function Operating instruction(1) - Mode change - Single Dual Both HDD1 and HDD2 will be formatted. If each capacity is different between HDD1 and HDD2, the smaller capacity becomes the limit of the recording. Dual Single Each HDD works as read only. You can change the relevant HDD to recordable HDD by performing the link process of the HDD. At this time, the HDD data will be erased. Dual Mode is displayed when mode is dual.

14 14 The Dual Recording Function Operating instruction (2) - Remove and install the HDD - Removal Process You can pull out the HDD during operation. You can replay the HDD by installing it to another operated at single mode. After replacing HDD, do not pull out another HDD until the recording is once finished. Link Process Recording and replaying do not work when you install the HDD which was once pulled out or used at another, because the recorder wrongly recognize that HDD as additional HDD. You can use this relevant HDD as a new HDD after you conduct HDD management operation. In this case, previous data in the HDD is erased. You have to conduct the same operation even if the new HDD is installed because the recorder recognizes it as additional HDD. Please use the same or bigger capacity HDD than previous one.

16 16 ND_Viewer with Fisheye Distortion Correction Overview This function allows ND_Viewer to dewarp fisheye images. ND400 Image position 3-mode is available Fisheye mode Single PTZ mode Quad PTZ mode These 3 buttons are displayed in case of replaying fisheye images and set the image correction library. You can not change the mode setting while the image is displayed at full-screen. You can change display mode in the image using right-click.

You can change the view position selecting one of 4 positions by clicking. Display 4 split screen at same time. You can print and save the same image which is displayed on the screen.

18 18 ND_Viewer with Fisheye Distortion Correction Preparation to use dewarping function ND Download compressed file for image correction library from following URL. The only user, who agrees Do not distribute the copy of library, can download it. 2. Decompress the file Image correction library ImageCorrection.dll is available. 3. Transmit image correction library to either directory as follows. bin folder that contains ND_Viewer.exe in it. Example) In case using viewer copied SD card by. 26 26 Improvements Transmit backed up data manually from SD memory to recorder. Function You can manually transmit the images recorded in SD card of the camera to recorder at any time. ND400 Background There are situations that you can not wait until transmission process carried out one time per hour. For example, when you deliver this machine to customer, conduct demonstration or check the function. Operation In case SD memory backup function is set, the SD button is displayed under the stop recording button. When you click the SD button, data transmission will start.

27 27 Prevent Improvements the reboot by careless operation at Service Mode ND400 Function This improvement prevents the reboot occurred by careless operation at Service Mode. Background At the time of PC board changing, if you choose the NO by mistake at the menu of PC board copy, reboot starts and HDD will be formatted as the usual operation. Operation In each menu of service mode, pressing [SET] selecting No becomes NOP (No-operation instruction ).

28 28 Notification Improvements at linking of HDD or extension unit ND400 HD616/ 716 Function When HDD or extension unit is linking, recorder sends notification to the Central organization. Background Central organization have to see if the service people surely restored the HDD at the customer sit, not only the call from the service people but the notification from recorder. At previous model, there was only notification that ensures the recovery for connection error of camera, but there were no notification if the HDD is completely recovered. Operation(ND400) Notification is transmitted when linking process was conducted by LCD and finished was displayed. Operation(HD600) Notification is transmitted when linking of HDD/ extension unit process was conducted by GUI and finished was displayed.

29 29 Display Improvements the RAID restoration progress ratio. Function This improvement displays the RAID restoration progress ratio. Background Extension unit (HDE400) can display RAID restoration progress ratio at the front LCD. But you can not see the situation because the RAID restoration progress ratio of recorder unit is not displayed. Operation During RAID restoration (displaying ), character string displayed on chip help is changed from Device to XX%. However, RAID restoration ratio is not displayed in case the recorder is not restored, even if is displayed. ND400 HD616/ 716

30 30 Improvement Improvements of Setup menu Background 1When you set VMD alarm ON at the camera by menu, the setting of motion detection areas is changed from each areas to all areas. 2When you set the bit rate of camera by menu individually, actual recording days does not reach the referenced recording days displayed on [Recording setup] Screen. 3The basic policy is to give the IP address to detected camera automatically. However it changed IP address of camera which already kitting by mistake. Operation 1 Describe the explanatory notes on the menu. 2 Describe the explanatory notes on the menu. 3:Remove the check by default.
