Structural and Decorative use: The exterior washers, along with a bolt or tie-rod system, will tie a building together to keep masonry walls from bulging and spreading over time, this movement can lead to structural damage and ultimately collapse. Our structural castings are made with Grey Iron according to the ASTM A48/A48M Grey Iron castings specifications. Current wall washer applications may include structural reinforcement in new construction, historic buildings renovation & restoration, retaining walls, and applied as decorative elements. DECORATIVE CAST MEDALLIONS (non-structural) Decorative Use: Our Decorative Cast Medallions can be used both indoors and outdoors.

These decorative medallions can add character, symbolism, personalization, and even company branding.

Unlike our Wall Washers they are cast in aluminum are applied to the wall with 2 2 x 3/8 studs (which are included) and epoxy (not provided).

As these are a custom product, payment of 50% - 75% of the total order will be required prior to processing the order. The medallions are painted a flat black as a standard finish.

Decorative Cast Medallions are not structural and thus are for decorative use only. These medallions are ordered as Back-plate and Appliqué and are then custom cast in one piece with the mounting studs added. 18 ACME HINGES The patented Acme, Lull & Porter hinge is used in applications when enough wood trim is exposed within the window opening to mount the shutters. One side of the hinge is mortised into the edge of the shutter and the other side is mortised into the window casement. When using Acme Lull & Porter mortised hinges, choose a hinge that gives you the best clearance away from the window casement. Be sure to allow adequate clearance from the surface of the house for ventilating purposes.
