3 Product Overview Vertical Shadings are a revolutionary new window covering that will enhance any décor in your home and will beautifully complement our Horizontal Alternative Shades. Its innovative and unique design combines the best features and functionality of horizontal, vertical, and sunscreen shades into a single luxurious shading product. By incorporating both transparent and opaque fabric sections, these shadings allow for greater control of light and mood while maximizing your view to the outdoors or your privacy. The transparent and opaque fabric sections of the shade repeat by traversing behind each other giving you the following optional settings: light filtering, translucent, room darkening or semi-room darkening. Unlike vertical blinds, Vertical Shadings also allow you to raise the blinds like a roller shade while giving you a completely open view to the exterior. An excellent feature especially for homes with patio doors, garden doors and french doors. Vertical Shadings are available in a wide assortment of colours, opacities and textures to satisfy the needs and tastes of the most discerning consumers. Inside Mounts: depending on the blind width, the last vane on the non-control side will either be solid or sheer, partial or full (see chart and illustration above). Outside Mounts: will allow you to choose the optimum width for your non-control side vane preference: solid versus sheer (see chart and illustration above). On outside mounts, we could possibly adjust the finished size by approximately /2 to achieve optimum vane size. For sizes that fall in between the optimum width sizes above, vanes will be reduced in size accordingly on the non-control side.
