9 Cellular Blinds Fabric Range Cell Fabric & Sizes The fabric is a non-woven fabric made from polyester fibre. It comes in a range of colours in 2 varieties; 1. Spun lace which is translucent & allows some light in. 2. 11 Cellular Blinds Fabric Range Colour Strips & Cover Strip A colour strip is inserted into the slot in the front of the Aluminium Headrail/Bottom rail & colour coordinates with the fabric. (refer colour coordination chart for details) For cordless blinds a cover strip is also inserted into the bottom rail to give a neat appearance.

12 Important Information Cellular Blinds Acceptable Standards The acceptable standard for imperfections, marks, dots, etc. on the final job is ; If it is visible with the naked eye, in natural day light, at a distance of 1.2 metres, it is not acceptable. If it is not visible with the naked eye, in natural daylight, at a distance of 1.2 metres, it is acceptable. Light Bleed All blinds allow light to pass around the sides of the blind. Consider using face fit as an option rather than reveal fit to reduce light bleed at the sides..

13 Important Information Cellular Blinds Blind Stack when Raised Cellular Shades stack when raised. They are not recommended above standard doorways. As a guide the approximate stack up when a blind is raised will be; Corded at 750 drop has a stack of 60mm Cordless at 750 drop has a stack of 65mm Care For & Cleaning Your Blinds Routine cleaning will help maintain the beauty of your blinds. To care for your shades, use any of the following options; Dusting regularly dust the shades with a duster. In most situations this is the only cleaning method needed. Vacuuming Use a hand held vacuum to remove dust. Use a low suction setting & a long bristled attachment. Ultrasonic Cleaning Your shades can be professionally cleaned ultrasonically. Specify that a mild solution must be used & the headrail should never be immersed in it. Re-install the shade & allow the fabric to dry in its completely lowered position. We recommend that you NEVER immerse your blinds in water, as this can affect the fabric adversely. With regular maintenance your blinds should last & look like new for many years to come.

24 Product Information Components Headrail & Bottom Rail The headrail is made of aluminium & is available in 2 sizes. It is also supplied in 2 different shapes, depending on the options chosen. It is available in a range of colours, & will coordinate with the fabric colour, as per the colour coordination chart. The bottom rail for both corded & cordless varieties will be the same as the corded blind headrail. This rail will also be used as the mid-rail for TDBU (top down, bottom up) blinds The size of the headrail chosen will usually depend on the available reveal depth if choosing inside mount & customer preference. The headrail are fitted with cord locks (where appropriate) & end caps on all rails for tidy appearance. The cord lock is fitted to the RIGHT HAND as default but can be fitted to the left hand side if required.

32 Measure drop at 3 points Measuring Guidelines Inside Mount for Blind Fitting Inside the Widow Reveal It is industry standard for blinds fitting into the window reveal to sit flush with the front of the reveal. The manufactured blind width is measured from end cap to end cap. Along the headrail. The fabric will be 4mm smaller than this (END CAPS = 2mm each end). The manufactured blind drop is measured from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the bottom rail when the blind is fully extended. 35 Cord Safety for Cellular Shades Important for Safe Installation & Operation In the sales process inform each customer of the December 2010 ACCC National Safety Standards & our requirement to fit safety labels. All blinds are fitted with warning labels advising of child safety risks. Breakaway tassels are standard on all corded blinds, & are provided in a clear colour. This is designed to break apart should weight or pressure be applied. The size & type is dependent on the number of cords on the blind. (also known as equalizer). Cord cleats supplied & fitted to tie up loose cords To keep cots and furniture away from window covering cords, and install & use safety devices that remove the cord loop or reduce access to cords.
