1 802.11p ETSI TC ITS Wireless Communication System, On Board Unit Model: OBU-102 Unex's OBU-102 is an integrated p ETSI TC ITS Wireless Communication System designed for deploying V2V, V2R, and V2I Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) applications as On Board Unit (OBU) mounted in a vehicle to improve traffic safety on the roadways. Installed IEEE p driver and ETSI TC ITS CAM, DENM, BTP, GN6, GN, ITS-G5A compliant protocol stack for operation in the ITS-G5 channels, OBU-102 enables software developers to directly deploy Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) applications on time and within budget through software development kit (SDK). Installed IEEE p driver and ETSI TC ITS CAM, DENM, BTP, GN6, GN, ITS-G5A compliance protocol support intra-vehicle, vehicle-tovehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-roadside (V2R), and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication in the ITS-G5 channels. Automotive-grade flexible hardware platform operating from 40 C ~ +85 C temperature range in compact design and ready-to-be-used software development kit (SDK) enable easy ITS applications for laboratory development, for the field trial, and for mass-deployment. Channel switching enables one DSRC radio to access CCH (control channel) and SCH (service channel) for coexistence of safety and non-safety applications. Binary code software modules of GPS, CAN Bus, and 3.5G HSDPA provide application flexibility on Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). Automotive-grade flexible hardware platform operating from 40 C ~ +85 C temperature range in compact design enables easy ITS applications for laboratory development, for the field-trial, and for mass-deployment. 10Hz GPS module supports RTCM SC-104 format in WAAS (Wide-Area Augmentation System) to correct GPS data in real time to improve positioning accuracy. Best-of-breed industrial-grade high power 5.85 ~ 5.925GHz wireless module utilizing dedicated temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) ensures frequency deviation within ± 10ppm in 40ºC ~ +85ºC temperature range.
