23 Wearable Technology Google Glass Banking Healthcare One-fifth of the bankers surveyed said they were interested in offering mobile banking apps that work with Google Glass. "I want all the tellers and front end staff to be using Google Glass. Bankers are waiting for consumer adoption to pick up before building mobile banking apps for [Google Glass]. American Banker, April 24, 2014 [Indiana University Health surgeon] Szotek and his team used the [Google Glass] technology earlier this year to remove a rare tumor from an Indiana man. Google Glass' voice command capabilities allowed him to view medical records during the four-hour procedure without having to take his hands or eyes off the patient.
