7 Prepaid Roaming Work Item for Voice & SMS Working Group IS-826 is the preferred method IS-826 is a standard for based on the Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN) Advantages: standards-based and trunk-efficient IS-826 was the most common existing prepaid offering (2007 survey*) Requires RSPs to support signaling not yet available CDG Reference Document Prepaid International Roaming, Ref Doc 159 Document in development Testing is Underway * 7
