1 TRUPHONE/MYOINT First and foremost, it is important that you install the latest firmware update on your camera. This simple step will ensure the proper functioning of your camera and a successful activation. To update the firmware of your camera: Go to support.spypoint.com Click on the icon Firmware Update. Choose your product, then click OK. Click on installation instructions and follow the procedure. 2 TRUPHONE/MYOINT Before you begin: Make sure you installed the latest firmware update on your camera (see procedure above). We recommend to use Internet Explorer (Safari for Mac users) during this entire procedure. Mozilla Firefox or other web browsers are not compatible. If you are using your own SIM card from another cellular provider on which a "Data" plan is already activated, step 1 is not required. Please note that only GSM/GPRS service providers as TRUPHONE and some others are compatible with the OINT mini-live-4g camera. Verizon network is only compatible with the OINT mini-live-4gv camera for the moment. If you have any problems during the activation of your camera, make sure you have already read and followed each step in this procedure before contacting OINT technical support. This way, you will be able to provide the necessary information to the technician for her or him to accurately provide proper support. Prepare the following: -OINT mini-live-4g camera -SIM card (TRUPHONE SIM card or your own SIM card on which a "Data" plan is already activated) -6 AA batteries, a OINT LIT-09 lithium battery pack or a 12V power source -Credit card -Pencil -Computer with internet access 2

At the top of the page in the black bar, click on "Activate SIM" under "My account". 3. Enter the Truphone SIM ID located on the back of the plastic SIM card holder. Refer to the image on the web page to locate it easily. When done, click on the "Next". 4. Enter the "PUK Code" located on the back of the plastic SIM card holder. Refer to the image on the web page to locate it easily. When done, click on the "Next". 5. From the drop down menu, select your country residence and then click on "Go". 6. Under "Costumize your number" section, select the state and the area code. 7. Under "Add additional credit" section, select the number of credit that you want. If there is no fund in your account, you will need to add some by clicking on "Add" for the desired additional credit. The minimum refill amount will be $ You can choose to use the automatic payment in your Truphone account. This option allows you to be sure you will never miss a photo transfer being sure there is always enough money for data transfer to your account. Under the "Auto refill" section, select an option of credit or "No auto refill". 9. Check your order summary on the top right of the page and click "Continue". 10. Under "User information" section, fill up all requested fields depending if you are already a Truphone customer or not and click on "Continue". 11. Enter all requested payment details and click on "Continue". 12. Your order is almost complete. Check to see all your details are correct, click on "I agree to the terms and conditions" and click on "Pay Now" at the bottom of the screen to complete your order. 13. Your order is now complete, "Continue to My Account" for an overall summary. 14. You re now ready to install the SIM card in the mini-live-4g camera. 3

4 TRUPHONE/MYOINT 2. Creating your myoint account These steps will allow you to use the interface of the myoint website to save and manage photos received from your mini-live-4g camera. Fees are required to use this service with the cellular functions of your camera. Visit the "LEARN MORE ABOUT PRICING" section located on the homepage of myoint.com site. 18. To begin registration of your new myoint account, go to Click "NEW USER? REGISTER NOW" and enter your personal information as indicated, then click "SUBSCRIBE NOW!". 20. Select your type of account (for more details click on "Learn more") and enter the camera s information. You can then click on "Show advanced options". 23. Then, enter the cellular information. For your SIM card number, follow these steps: a. Carefully insert your SIM card in the card slot, gold contact area facing down. The SIM card slot is located under the camera. b. Turn on your camera and go to the "Settings" menu, then "Wireless" to access the wireless settings menu. c. Make sure the "Cellular" option is set to On, the Country option to the one you are in, and the Provider to the same provider of the SIM card you bought d. Go back to the "Settings" menu, select "General and then use the arrows to move the menu selector to About the device. Wait a couple of seconds and you will see your SIM number appear on the display. 24. Select the monthly data transfer limit according to your service provider data plan. This option makes sure you do not exceed the amount of data permitted on your data plan. An will be sent to the address related to your account when you have reached 80% of your monthly limit. The photo transmission to your myoint account will be automatically blocked if the amount of data transfer reaches 95% of the limit chosen (however the camera continues recording locally on the SD card). This monthly data transfer limit can be changed later through the "EDIT CAMERA INFORMATION" section of your account under the "Account" tab. These are optional and allow the users (up to 5 phone numbers) to receive on their mobile phone the notifications sent by the system when new photos are transferring. In addition, important alerts that are sent by the system are also collected by messaging. 26. Click "CONTINUE TO CHECKOUT". 27. Enter your credit card information as requested, check the box "I have read and I accept the methods of transaction" and click "ORDER NOW". 28. Click on the "ACCOUNT" tab to access to your account. 29. To verify the configuration, go in PHOTO mode. If no error message appears, the camera is now ready to be used in photo mode. If an error message shows up, power cycle the camera and go back to TEST mode to verify the signal strength of the network. If the signal bars are still not showing after 2 minutes, that means the cellular signal is not strong enough at this place. You can try to make this test outside of your home to get a better signal.
