19 IAS Exam - Reminders IAS Exam is 3½ hours, plus ½ hour printing time allowed at end if required. (Colleges are responsible for ensuring the availability of printing facilities) No Manuals, notes or other material is allowed during the exam. Excel is only to be accessed for the purposes of the exam. It is the student s responsibility to make sure they save ALL their work. An effort has been made to minimise the printing requirement (as last year). Integrated Accounting Systems 19

20 IAS Exam - Reminders All IAS exams will be centrally corrected again in 2011 Please make sure each student fills out a cover sheet! (Registration numbers must be provided) A Cover Sheet will also be provided to record College/Invigilator details. Students must return their exam paper to the Invigilator and these should be returned with the material submitted for central correction. Packaging instructions (in respect of the return of materials) will be issued in advance of the exams Integrated Accounting Systems 20

21 IAS Exam Correction IAS exam first sitting 1 st 19 th March 2010 IAS exam second sitting 1 st 30 th April 2010 It is imperative that you retain a copy of ALL material that you send to us in case of loss or data corruption. Integrated Accounting Systems 21

22 IAS Exam Correction All exams, printouts, backups, etc should be returned to Accounting Technicians Ireland for correction within 3 days of completion of the exam In the event that more than one exam is held, all material should be returned within 3 days of each exam. Colleges will be notified with preliminary results Emphasis on identifying unsuccessful candidates to allow for repeat exam to be scheduled All guidelines apply equally to the 2 nd Sitting exams Integrated Accounting Systems 22
