2 New CTE TEKS The State Board of Education recently adopted new Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Career and Technical Education (CTE). The new CTE TEKS will become effective beginning with the school year. CTE Teachers reviewed their new courses and TEKS in September 2016 CTE Teachers made recommendations on their courses and programs of study
