2 Preface Training provides security With your TRUMPF laser you have acquired an excellent high-tech system. Whatever the task - welding, cutting, labeling or using the tool for other jobs: The respective machining process always requires exact compliance with all parameters involved in the process. This is true for clamping and positioning as well as for the laser tool itself. In the training courses at our Schramberg training center you get to know your laser and its functions in detail. The training makes you more assured in your daily work and ensures that you can utilize the full potential of your laser. Furthermore, our online support can be ideally combined with a training and up to 80% of all faults are immediately remedied. With our safety-certified online support we offer you a worldwide unique service. Once our specialists have been enabled online, they can monitor and control all functions of the laser, diagnose errors and generally remedy these errors. Idle times and service missions on site are thus reduced to a minimum. 2

3 Our know-how is your gain Our trainings are aimed mainly at employees who work with the laser system or are responsible for maintenance and repair. Experienced service technicians and specialists from our development department pass on their in-depth know-how tailored to the requirements of the participants. The training participants get to know the structure and the function of their laser system. Maintenance and error detection and elimination are practiced. The focus is hereby on the device technology. The basic theory of laser application is communicated and practical exercises are carried out. Special application trainings are offered separately. 3

22 VisionLine We offer the following training for VisionLine: VisionLine Detect - PFO This course is aimed at whoever wants to acquire basic knowledge of integrating image processing programs into their production process. Course duration: 2 days Mat. no.: Note: A basic knowledge of operating a laser device with TruControl 1000 and knowledge of operating a PFO is required to participate. The course is carried out on a PFO with exercise sections of the training center. VisionLine Detect - Systems This course is aimed at whoever wants to acquire expertise in safely working with the Vision LIne software in connection with the 3D TRUMPF machines, as well as practical creation and customization of programs. Course duration: 1 day Mat. no.: Note: Participation in the VisionLine Detect PFO course and in the operator course of the respective TRUMPF machine (e.g. TruLaser Station 5005) is required to participate. Prior knowledge of CNC variable programming is necessary. The course is generally carried on a TruLaser Station 5005 with exercise sections of the training center. 22

26 I-PFO We offer the following training for the I-PFO: I-PFO operator and programming course The I-PFO (intelligent PFO) is a PFO focusing optics software and is connected to a robot and a TruDisk laser. The I-PFO is used as tool for welding. The I-PFO starts the processing based on information about the current robot movement, which is continuously transferred. It knows the exact time and point at which to weld. Note: Attendance at a laser course and a robot training is required to participate. Dates for holding these trainings are available on request. The course provides basic knowledge on communicating between laser device, robot and focusing optics. Practical exercises are carried out by TRUMPF on the exercise workpieces. 28 TruTops I-PFO We offer the following training for TruTops I-PFO: TruTops I-PFO (software course) The I-PFO (intelligent PFO) is a software of the focusing optics PFO and is connected to a robot and a TruDisk laser. The I-PFO serves as a tool for welding. The I-PFO starts the processing on the basis of information on the current robot movement which is permanently transmitted. The I-PFO knows the exact moment and the spot of the welding. The course imparts the basics of the communication between laser device, robot and the focusing optics. Practical training is carried out at TRUMPF exercise workpieces.
