To review the list of books approved for PDCs, please visit this website 2:00 In the Recertification Requirements Handbook, there are "Acceptable Audit Documentation" listed for each type of PDC one may submit. Do I just need to fulfill one requirement under each section, or all of them? Hello Sarah, if you are selected for audit you must submit acceptable documentation for each activity you are claiming.

I immediately received an message that said that my recertification is granted. However, the portal does not reflect a new recertification cycle and it appears that it is still waiting for me to submit my recertification credits for the current cycle, even though I already did that. Attachments are not required when entering your re certification activities, unless you are submitting an Advance Your Organization work project. In the Recertification Requirements Handbook, there are "Acceptable Audit Documentation" listed for each type of PDC one may submit. If, for example, there are three types of documentation listed under one activity, must I have all three, or may I provide one of the three? Hello, Sarah! My only thought is that some of the credits were automatically entered (by SHRM maybe e.g. membership credits) even though I had manually entered my data beforehand. Hello Joy! You are correct, some activities are entered by SHRM, e.g. SHRM membership, SHRM Conferences, and/or seminars.

Hello! Yes, if you download the SHRM mobile app, you can search for offerings by SHRM Recertififcation Providers. You can also search using your online certification portal. Once logged in to portal.shrm.org, please go to "Activities", then "Search PDCs". 2:25 [Comment From JoyJoy: ] Eddice responded to my earlier chat re: me having more credits reflected in the final summary on the portal after submission of my recertification credits. I entered some information manually, however SHRM also entered credits and it appears that some of the entries may be duplicates. However when I submitted my recertification credits, I had more than the required 60 to recertifiy. I just wanted to know if SHRM would review and clean up where any redundancies appear? It mainly occurred under membership credits. Hi Joy, If there are duplicates they will be removed by SHRM. I'm happy to do a more complete review before you submit. It cost $100 to recert - so how can you justify a late fee to high?? I'm sorry for the inconvenience. The late fee amount is an organizational decision. 11 2:27 what is the SHRM membership credit referenced in the chat? I have been a SHRM member for going on three years (since my certification), but I do not have any credits for it... Hi Sarah! You may earn 3 PDCs per year for a total of 9 PDCs per 3-year recertification cycle. SHRM staff can add this for you or you can add it manually under Advance your Profession. Every year you hold a SHRM national membership, you earn 3 PDCs. These PDCs are auto-uploaded to your account once a year, or you may manually enter the PDCs in the Advance Your Profession category 2:29 Comment From Hello - I m currently recertifying and curious if you have a list of pre-approved providers for live e-learning (unlimited credit hours) avail? I see in advance your education - Educational PDC Activities there is no way to upload your documentation proving you received the credit. Is there a place to upload supporting documentation (certificates) for these PDC activities? Hello! You are not required to upload Advance your Education documentation unless you are 2:29 I didn't realize that documentation was needed for webinars attended. I have attended about 5 of them. The best documentation I could provide would be snapshots of my calendar that have the registration information, which I am guessing is not sufficient. What do you recommend? Your registration information would be considered appropriate documentation. Any PowerPoint slides or handouts that were distributed can also be submitted 2:30 That concludes our session today.
