2 Q: How do I log in? A: Go to Log in by clicking the Sign In link in the top right corner of the ICC Learning Center page. Then enter the and password that you use for myicc and click Login. If you are a new user, click Register as a new user. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password? Q: How do I print my completion certificate? A. It s easy! Follow these instructions below to print a certificate of completion: 1. Sign into the ICC Learning Center and click the My Transcript link located at the top of the screen. 2. Your transcript will display. Locate the course you would like to print a certificate for and click the Completed Satisfactorily link. 3. When your certificate displays, click the Print icon located in the upper right. You will be able to print the certificate on demand. Q: Where can I find my transcript? A: Click the My Transcript link at the top of the screen. Note: You must be logged in to the ICC Learning Center to see your transcript. Q: Why don t I see all my courses in My Transcript? A: Only the past 3 years are available to view, because only the last 3 years can be applied to certification. Q: Where can I find my current courses? A: Click the My Courses link at the top of the screen. Note: You must be logged in to the ICC Learning Center to see your current courses. Q: How do I get help? A: Click the Contact Us link at the top of the page. You can also call us for help at 888-ICC- SAFE ( ), ext or us at learn@iccsafe.org. There is also a live chat box located to the right of the screen where you can request assistance. Q: How are CEU s calculated? A: Continuing Education Units are measured by taking 1/10 of the time of the course. For example, a one hour course is worth 0.1 CEU.
3 Q: Is there any training that is FREE? A: YES!!! We have seven courses (0.7 CEUs) in the form of Recorded Webinars that you can attend for FREE! Changes to the 2015 IPC that Affect Plumbing Products Overview of the 2013 Calgreen Commissioning Requirements Overview of the 2013 Calgreen Non-Residential Provisions A: PPP stands for the Preferred Provider Program. The Preferred Provider Program (PPP) focuses on training opportunities offered by various categories of ICC-approved education providers, which collectively form the ICC Preferred Provider Network (PPN). PPP recognizes and promotes ICC-approved educational offerings by a variety of Providers as they relate to codes, standards and guidelines, as well as building construction materials, products and methods. Q: How do I get CEUs from PPP? A: An expansive listing of available educational courses, both onsite and online, is available to users of the Preferred Provider Program. This listing can be found at ppp.iccsafe.org under the scheduled courses in the course catalog. Users have the opportunity to gain information about educational offerings and other services of Preferred Providers. In addition, ICC certificate holders may obtain CEUs from Preferred Providers that can be applied toward the renewal requirements of ICC s certification program. At this time, you will need to self-certify your course completion through your myicc portal. In the future, this will be done automatically, but for now if a course is taken from a Preferred Provider that record will need to be uploaded manually to your myicc portal until further notice. Q: I am looking to renew my certification. Why do 50% of my CEUs need to come from ICC directly or from a Preferred Provider in order for me to recertify? A: The requirement for 50% of your CEUs to be obtained from ICC or Preferred Provider Partner (PPP) became effective in January of The requirement takes into consideration that you receive training from various providers outside of ICC as you continue to develop your career, maintain licensing and certifications. We would love for you to get all your training from ICC or our Preferred Provider Partners but we also encourage diversification which allows you to obtain at least 50% from us or our partners and the other 50% from other providers not associated with ICC.
4 Q: How do I enroll multiple people in a course? A: Once you have found the class you want to enroll your group in, click Show More. You will see the details of the class. On the right side of the details you will see To Enroll Multiple People under that heading there is a link to click that will generate an request. Just fill in the details of your request and send. You can also send your request via by clicking the ICC Learning Center link when you hover over Contact Us at the top of the ICC Learning Center page. In your request, please note the name and date of the course you would like your group to be enrolled in as well as all names of the people you would like enrolled and the that is associated with their MyICC account. Please indicate if any of the people in your group request do not have a MyICC account. Q: I am missing a training record. What should I do? A: Send an to the ICC Learning Center by clicking on the ICC Learning Center link when you hover over Contact Us at the top of the ICC Learning Center page. Please indicate the course name, date of completion of course, and whether is it an online course or a face-toface course. If it is a face-to-face course, please also indicate the name of the instructor and the location of the course. For help, click the Contact Us link at the top of the page. You can also call us at 888-ICC-SAFE ( ), ext or us at learn@iccsafe.org. There is also a live chat box located to the right of the screen where you can request assistance. Q: I just finished a face to face class and when I login to the ICC Learning Center it says I have not completed the course. What s going on? A: Once a face-to face class has been completed, the instructor will upload the class roster to ICC Learning Center. If you do not receive credit within 48 business hours of the completion of the course, please contact ICC by clicking on the ICC Learning Center link when you hover over Contact Us at the top of the ICC Learning Center page. You can also call us at 888- ICC-SAFE ( ), ext or use the live chat box feature located to the right of the screen. Q: I would like to sign up for a training event but I don t see it listed in the ICC Learning Center catalog or on the calendar. What should I do? A: The training event is probably a local Chapter Event. If the Chapter doesn t notify the ICC Learning Center of the training, it will not show on our calendar or in our catalog. To register for a Chapter Event, you can reach out directly to your local Chapter. If it is not a chapter event, it may be a subsidiary link. You can check the subsidiary links on iccsafe.org. Q: Where did the bulk purchase option go? A: The Bulk Purchase Option has been removed at this time. If your organization has training budget dollars that must be allocated by the end of the fiscal year, the ICC Learning Center s

Premium: Premium training includes the premium seminar workbook for your group in addition to the PDF of the PowerPoint presentation. Volume discounts are available. A: Once a course is started it may move into the My Transcripts once it has been started. If you don t see it in My Transcripts feel free to contact the Learning Center at 888-ICC-SAFE ( ), ext or us at learn@iccsafe.org. There is also a live chat box located to the right of the screen where you can request assistance. Q: My course isn t running right. After I click Launch it never loads or it loads but I have no volume. Sometimes it just stops for no reason. What should I do? A: Whenever you are experiencing issues with a course you should do a compatibility check. Simply go to the Learning Center Home Page (learn.iccsafe.org) and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on Learning Center Browser Compatibiliity Check. If the check shows a red x for any application, that application will need to be updated. One the application is updated all should work well.
