6 Renewable raw material wood The raw material for Lenzing fibers is dissolving wood pulp from beech wood, spruce, eucalyptus and several other types of wood Dissolving wood pulp has specific requirements compared to paper pulp 2 % to 3 % of industrial pulp produced worldwide is used by the fiber industry

10 Wood and Pulp Policy *) today The supply of wood and pulp of a specified quality and quantity to all of the Group s pulp and fiber production sites is an important part of the Lenzing Group s core business. The Lenzing Group is an environmentally responsible company operating as sustainably as possible. We strive to source wood and pulp exclusively from non-controversial sources *), preferring suppliers participating in credible forest certification programs. If we discover that we are sourcing wood or pulp from controversial sources, we will eliminate it from our supply chain with a reasonable lead time. We strive to establish long-term partnerships with our wood and pulp suppliers, and we seek to do our business personally and directly with forest owners and pulp mills. *)

11 Lenzing s fiber certifications We are proud to be able to say that 100 % of Lenzing s wood and pulp supply is either certified or from controlled *) wood sources! *) controlled according to the standards of wood certifiers and externally verified! This means that no controversial sources can be included
