4 SAM SERVER SAM runs on a web server running Windows 2003 or 2008 Server 32-bit Edition with IIS and Service Packs (No 64-bit Editions) as well as the FTP and Web Services. Please see the Comprise System Specifications for more information on Server Specifications. 5. 5 PC ANYWHERE, VPN, OR TERMINAL SERVICES INFORMATION EQUIVALENT Server Technical Support: Note that a form of remote access software is required for us to offer technical support on the SAM server. In addition, it must be set to Waiting Mode for remote access by Comprise Tech Services Group. 7. Remote access must be available to the SAM/SMM Web Server, the SQL Database Server if installed on a different server and the ISA server if you have purchased SAM proxy filtering. To determine the printer driver and port at a particular PC: 1) Select Printers from the Control Panel of the Start Menu, 2) Highlight the printer, and 3) Right mouse click on Properties look under the General, Port, or Advanced Tabs.
