11 AC MONITORING Are you switched on? The 3420 AC Monitor measures the AC voltage, current and frequency with precision and reports data over the network. DC Measure the DC voltage, the DC current along with state of charge and the battery life remaining at the current rate of discharge and more AC Monitor DIN Rail WAGO Cage The 3420 accurately measures the AC voltage, AC current and AC Frequency. The unit can be used for Single Phase, Bi-Phase and Three Phase systems and is suitable for measuring AC sources such as Shore Power, Generators or Invertors. It can also measure the voltage and frequency on AC Bus Bar Systems. The unit has inputs for up to three phase voltages and up to three-phase current transformers. It is supplied with a single phase current transformer. Additional transformers will be required to measure Bi-Phase or Three Phase circuits. The voltage sensing is by simple phase and neutral connection to the unit. Current sensing is done by a state of the art AC Current Transformer placed around the conductor with no need to break the connection. 12 TEMPERATURE MONITORING IP30 IP30 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Designed to measure the exhaust gas temperature of a marine engine or generator. It uses a highly accurate Type T thermocouple and reports the temperature directly onto the network. It shows the actual temperature to prevent partial cooling water blockages before any damage occurs. Exhaust Gas Temperature Probe The probe is designed to be easily mounted in the exhaust hose with an armoured stainless steel sheathed cable to the sensor module mounted within 3 metres. The probe mount is a corrosion resistant duplex stainless steel pocket that is sealed to prevent any exhaust leaks IP DIN Rail 4 Channel Temperature Module WAGO Cage Monitors up to 4 type K thermocouples. 13 PRESSURE MONITORING There are many pressure points to measure on a vessel including oil pressure, compressed air pressure, multiple hydraulic systems, water pressure and water maker systems, fuel pressure monitoring and fuel filter condition monitoring. 14 DIGITAL SWITCHING SWITCH INPUT MODULE RELAY OUTPUT MODULE MODBUS GATEWAY J IP DIN Rail IP40 IP40 WAGO Cage 3155 DIN Rail IP66 DIN Rail WAGO Cage J1939 Sandard J1939 to Adaptor Transmits standard J1939 engine messages onto the network. LEDs indicate when J1939 messages are received and when messages are transmitted. The J1939 interface is optically isolated to prevent ground loop problems and is read only. No messages are sent to the J1939 interface for absolute safety. Multiple Adaptors can exist on the same network. to VE.Can Adaptor IP66 Allows standard sensors to be connected to Victron s VE.Can network. Housed in a black anodised case this unit converts the high voltage VE.Can power down to the 12 volt standard and current limits it to 100mA or 2 LENs. The green power LED indicates that the VE.Can voltage is present and that the attached device is not drawing too much current. The unit has the standard VE.Can twin RJ45 sockets to allow the Victron network to be daisy chained, as well as single micro C socket. The 5802 is built to the IEC protected standard. Relay Output Module Switch Input Module Modbus Gateway Allows messages over the network to directly control 8 power relays using standard PGN messages. Each of these relays are totally isolated and can be connected to any mix of DC or AC control circuits, each controlling up to 8 Amps at 35 Volts for DC or up to 16 Amps at 250 Volts AC resistive load. The relay would be supporting remote alarm inputs, pump management, power switching connectors, light control and many other applications where power needs to be controlled over the network. Each 3478 has a switch settable Switch Bank Instance to allow multiple Relay Output Modules on a single network. Each relay output has a green LED to indicate when each relay is operated. The 3478 is operated from the standard Switch Bank Control PGN from any controller. The unit also transmits the standard Switch Bank Status PGN every 2 seconds to keep the network updated. The Channel Switch Input Module monitors switch closure devices and reports their status over the network. These devices can include fire/smoke/ carbon monoxide detectors, bilge and flood float detectors, doorway and porthole closure detectors, valve status detectors and many more. With this module and suitable displays the status of all these items can be viewed anywhere on the vessel. The unit has PLC quality inputs that are manufactured to IEC and IEC61000 standards so they are optically isolated and fully protected against ESD, Voltage Surges and Transients to ensure the most reliable operation at all times. It is compatible with either 12 or 24 Volt systems. It requires NO user setup menus but the simple setting of two small rotary address switches so multiple Switch Input Modules can exist on the same network. Each switch input also has a tell tale green LED to indicate when it is active. Provides a powerful solution to convert messages from engines, tank senders, generators, AC monitors, battery banks, battery chargers and control switches to the Modbus RS485 format. Large yacht monitoring systems use the Modbus RS485 standard to communicate with PLCs and sensors on board to control and monitor on board systems such as tank levels, pump, ventilators, lighting, alarms and other equipment. The Modbus Gateway system can interpret the data from the attached devices and even control up to 8 banks of 28 switches/relays to control on board facilities. Rudder Angle Adaptor Allows standard European or American standard resistive rudder angle senders to transmit their rudder position over the network. Simple installation with NO user setup or calibration required. In multiple rudder installations the sender type selection and the device instance setup is simply done with the small rotary switch on the unit. The 3165 has a red port LED and a green starboard LED that flash to indicate the unit is transmitting the appropriate rudder position. The mechanical setup of the rudder angle sender is greatly simplified by setting the rudder midships and then adjusting the linkage to the sender until both LEDs illuminate when the sender is also at midships. ADAPTORS IP66 Bennett Trim Tab Adaptor Designed to measure the Inductive sensors in Bennett Trim Tabs and relay their position over multiple interfaces. This unit enables the user to see the trim tab positions on a suitable display to enable control settings for the best ride and lowest fuel consumption.
