2 The designer multimedia shelf nextboard hides technology and cables. Modular shelving system can be extended horizontally. Clever connections ensure that only one power supply is needed. Integrated power supply, high quality 3 gang socket in each shelf, can be extended as required, power cable or outgoing speaker cables covered by plain cable channelling. Universal docking station for iphone, ipod and ipad or other tablets or media players usable via USB. Device protection and improved sound; a surge protector or a surge protector plus mains filter may be added.

Stow it away out of sight or display it on top nextboard offers the perfect solution for cables Clever cable routing: store your hardware inside the shelf the cables of all devices you would like to display on top of the shelf can be elegantly hidden and connected to the power supply inside it thanks to slits on the back of the divided cover. Flexibility: devices, cables and sockets inside the shelf are easy to get to. Replace your old device with a new one at any time, no problem. Integrated ventilation: the bottom of the shelf features vents to allow the heat produced by computers and power supply units to escape.

4 nextboard Flexibility in terms of mounting and connection of existing hi-fi components Mount just one nextboard or as many interlocking ones as you like next to each other along the wall. The power is transmitted to the socket units in each shelf on the inside via a cable equipped with socket and plug no tools needed, and no loss of a socket space. This means that even several shelves mounted next to each other require only one external power supply. nextboard is available in white, black and light grey.

5 Handmade in Germany produced individually according to customer specifications. Our cabinet makers make each nextboard to order, adding optional extras if required. The base is made from the kind of low resonance MDF that is used to build speakers. For maximum stability, the CNC milled MDF boards are also glued to the bottom board. The nextboard gets its minimalist look from the high pressure laminate side panels and the divided top cover, which is kept in place with magnets and features aluminium spacers. Interested in technology and good design, he has been passionate about high quality audio for as long as he can remember. He initially worked as a photographer for stereoplay and hifi & records magazine, then as an art director for various advertising agencies. He had the idea for the nextboard when he connected his own hi-fi system to a music server, and drew up some first sketches for a suitable shelf.
