3 Introduction The Mentor trolley range offers the ultimate in safe storage, charging and updating of laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and similar devices. LapSafe s flagship Mentor range provides the very highest levels of security as well as intelligent charging of devices. The Mentor trolley range offers three types of charging, SmartLine, ChargeLine or USB Charge Only. The Ultra-Safe Power Management System is the best available within the market today. All devices are charged simultaneously in the fastest possible time. The power management system incorporates three key areas of protection, soft-start, surge and residual voltage; these provide the highest level of protection for the user, your equipment and electrical circuits. The mobile Mentor trolley range is constructed of a fully welded steel chassis that reduces points of weakness. Anti-jemmy plates fitted to the top and bottom of the doors combined with reinforced locking and full length piano hinges make the Mentor range one of the most secure trolleys on the market today. 4 More Detail High security keys provide access to the front of the trolley and different keys access the back service door for authorised access. In addition to the robust and secure construction, a security loop is provided to allow the cabinet to be secured to a fixed point using the user s own chain or padlock, alternatively there is an optional wall docking station. All devices are stored and charged in horizontal bays in modules with fixed shelves, avoiding the instability caused by pull-out shelves. Large braking wheels makes for easy manoeuvrability and each trolley comes complete with a mains power cable stow. Automatic temperature controlled fan(s) together with natural ventilation avoids heat build-up to maintain an optimum charging temperature, even for the most demanding situations. The trolley is of modular design, so it is possible to mix different modules in one cabinet i.e. laptops and tablets. You can choose different charging modules to suit your needs and upgrade at a later date, futureproofing your investment. The new look Mentor has smooth, rounded corners which softens its appearance but maintains its strength. 6 The Charging Options SmartLine with PowaSave Our patented SmartLine with PowaSave features unique ultra-safe low voltage built-in charging cables specific to the make and model of laptop, Chromebook or similar devices, eliminating the need for AC adaptors. The highly intelligent SmartLine charging system incorporates PowaSave as standard. When devices are fully charged, PowaSave automatically turns off its internal power supplies rather than dissipating wasted electric as heat. Charging is automatically reinstated when required by the devices. This feature alone will recover the cost of the cabinet in a short space of time in saved electricity. 7 ChargeLine ChargeLine uses the devices own AC adaptor plugged in to a standard 3 pin, 13 amp socket to charge devices (Euro sockets available). The socket is situated at the front of each bay so that there is no need to reach around the rear of the unit to plug in the AC adaptors, making them easy to remove if required. For complete safety, the trolley automatically shuts off power to the sockets as soon as the doors are opened. USB USB charge only modules allow tablets such as ipads to be charged at full rate. 8 The Additional Options Data Transfer The data transfer model facilitates simultaneous updating of all laptops stored within the charging trolley*. Wireless Access Point Turns the Mentor into a wireless network point. *Requires network connectivity 8

9 Timer Docking Station Alarm A 20 segment, 7 day digital timer can be factory fitted to the unit. Easy to use, the timer can be set so devices are charged at a set time e.g. at night to benefit from cheap rate energy tariffs. This factory or retro fitted additional option locks the Mentor to a wall, further enhancing security. The Mentor trolley can be fitted with an alarm which once set will sound if the trolley is moved from its location or an attempt is made to break into the cabinet. A four-digit code can be set to operate the alarm together with a master code. 9
