3 TeSys D Green AC / DC compatible coil Contactors New TeSys D Green Contactors help industrial plants improve operational efficiency, meet sustainability goals and improve automation and control reliability. The new contactors are equipped with an innovative electronic coil that requires up to 80% less energy and generates up to 50% less heat inside cabinets compared to electro-mechanical contactors. This will help large process and manufacturing plants noticeably reduce their energy bills and meet sustainability goals. TeSys D Green offers easy integration with automation solution architectures. To simplify the design and reduce wiring and material costs, extension of contactors up to 80A enable direct PLC control from 24VDC /500 ma static outputs without requiring an interface relay. Schneider Electric is a global leader in DataComms with strong emphasis on R&D. Schneider Electric Actassi is a global offer, having already been released in countries including China, France, Denmark and UEA, among others with strong success. Due to the advanced innovation provided by the range, the Schneider Electric Actassi is ideal for application in high end markets. In comparison, The Clipsal Actassi range, which comprises Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A Unshielded & Shielded, Copper Panels and Racks, has seen strong success in the residential and smaller commercial market. The Schneider Electric branding was selected to provide a distinction between these two offer markets. 10 ResiMax Comb Busbar Evolution Resi MAX comb busbar reduces wiring effort, makes wiring easy and installations time efficient. Colour of ResiMax Slim Comb busbars (for Slim RCBO) will change from Grey colour to White colour. The colour of end caps for comb bus bar will also change from Grey colour to Yellow colour to highlight them as safety accessory. Finally, the markings on Comb busbar will also change and letters like N, L1, L2, L3 will replace symbols to represent Phase and Neutral. there is no technical change to the product. To align the colour of comb busbars with the colour of RCBOs and also to highlight the end caps as safety accessory. This will help to provide a family look to the comb busbars with the rest of the circuit protection elements in the ResiMax family. No, there is no technical change to the product. 3. Is there any change to the commercial references? No, there is no change to the commercial references. Customer can place their orders under the same commercial references that they have been using in the past. 4. When will this change be implemented? This change has been implemented in manufacturing from 1st May. This will be a running change as there is no expected impact on customers. So it will flow through the supply chain as we run out of the old stock. Phase out of 57 Pole 4BB4 Series Fork Busbars 57 Pole versions of 4BB4 series Fork busbars are being phased out. Sales are very low for these references and customers are using 12 and 18 Pole versions of 4BB4 series more often. This helps to rationalise our product range and finally helps to achieve better profitability for the business. We expect no negative impact on the customer due to this change as the need for this type of product is very low and customers can use combination 12 & 18 Pole versions if they need to have larger number of products to be connected.

13 Clipsal single screw cable connectors have been redesigned to make them suitable for earth, active and neutral conductors. We are releasing two new packaging options that will supersede all current versions of connectors. We are focusing in this in order to adapt to recent changes in Australian Standards AS/NZS3000:2007 specifically a per clause (d) from subsection in regards the requirements for earthing connections. The new connectors are now even more flexible and therefore easier on your fingers and easier to fit into tight J-Boxes. We are taking the opportunity of the changes on Australian Standards, to completely redesign our cable connectors into a single screw connection, capable to accommodate either No.2 Phillips drive or No.1 Square drive. We also upgraded our terminals into a wrapper design that will ensure a reliable connection. Safety has been enhanced in the form of a larger insulation cover that shrouds the conductors and cable insulation. With the recent releases of the various other sockets this now completes the offer allowing Clipsal Modena/Strato to fulfil your customer s needs. Our current offer is not complete and to meet the demand in the Hotel segment has required us to review the offer resulting in a number of new modules to be released.
