5 Material handling In this application, products arrive randomly and are coupled using a system of intelligent belts. A 3axis arm then picks them up on the fly and places them in a carton. The box is finally closed and labelled before being removed. 6 Assembly machine This application handles products of different sizes arriving randomly at the machine intake. The process involves positioning and aligning the products, then drilling and positioning the insert on the fly. 7 Cut to length machine The rotary knife allows cutting of different materials (metal plate, strip of fabric, plastic films, etc.) to a length which can be determined without stopping the feed. To achieve a clean cut at the correct length, the rotary knife must be synchronized precisely with the material feed. The cutting length can be changed on the fly.
