Hytronik has designed such lighting controls using 4 wireless mesh technology to support the functional demands of most commercial and industrial applications: Office / Commercial ighting Classrooms Car Parks Stairwells / Corridors High-bay / ow-bay Warehouse HBT01 Transceiver + Occupancy Sensor ode By combining the mesh network transceiver, microwave occupancy sensor and photocell into a single unit, many energy saving and comfort/safety control functions may be achieved. Perfect for applications such as car parks, stairwells and suspended fixtures where space is restricted for cables and traditional externally mounted lighting controls. HBT02 Transceiver ode This device contains all the features of the HBT01 above, except for the microwave occupancy sensor. The detection range is heavily influenced by antenna placement (angle of approch) and different walking paces. It may be reduced to ( O x H) of 2 x 3m under certain conditions (walking across). 2. Hytronik uses this principle with a custom-designed photocell and sophisticated software algorithm to measure and differentiate natural light from ED light, so that this photocell can ignore the ED light and only respond to the natural light. 2 Hardware Reset Button A HBT01/HBT02 should always be removed from a network via the APP through the devices menu, and it is highly recommended that the hardware reset button is only used as a last resort, such as the newtork to which it belonged has accidently been deleted from the smart device, or the account to which the network & device belongs to is irretrievable. The reset button will erase the device from any mesh network it may have been added to. ote: After the following process has been carried out, the device will not be able to communicate with the APP, so has no way to automatically clear itself from active networks on the smart device. The device will show itself as a new device when performing a device search. When re-connecting to the network, the device setings will need to be re-configured as if connecting a new device. To perform the reset: * The HBT01/HBT02 must be connected and powered up. * Press and hold the reset button until the lamp flashes twice to confirm the reset is complete (It will take around 2-5 Seconds).

HF Microwave Antenna HBT01 The HBT01 contains both a HF microwave antenna and the transceiver module and are located within the device as per fig.1. Antenna When the antenna is mounted to a metallic backplane, such as a gear tray, a cut-out opening should be made as large as possible as shown in fig.2. Opening under antenna fig.2. Metallic Gear Tray If possible, try to position the sensor as far away as possible from the ED Driver or other strong sources of HF interference. HBT02 fig.3. The HBT02 contains only the transceiver module and is located in the same position as per fig.3. The same consideration to mounting on metal gear trays is therefore also as per fig.2. Device to Device Placement Smart Phone to Device Range Antenna Concrete walls Metals, and other building materials will reduce the range otes: The range for which a smart phone can communicate with the lighting points will vary from model to model and is dependant on its capability Strong signal sources such as WiFi routers and microwave ovens will affect the range Device placement may offer up to 30m communication distance. However, we recommend for indoor applications that device placements should be no further apart than 15m. Placement of the antenna within the luminaire will also effect the smart phone communication range and may appear different for each luminaire variant. Finally, other environmental factors (as per opposite) will influence the ultimate achievable range of communication between smart phone and luminaire device.

5 Optional accessory: reinforced bluetooth antenna For some special applications, customers may need a larger bluetooth transmission for both smart phone to device and device to device. Thanks to the reinforced bluetooth antenna, with it adding to the sensor head, the transmission distance (smart phone to device) enlarges to 20m, the distance of device to device is around 50m. Installation hole 6.5mm Bluetooth antenna Hardware Features 1 Manual Override (HCD038 / HC038V Push Terminal) The push terminal reserves the access of manual override function for the end-user to switch on/off, or adjust the light level by push-switch. Furthermore, by using the binding option in the App, entire groups of fixtures may be wirelessly controlled by a single switch. Please refer to the App user guide for further information. * Short Push (<1s): permanent on/off function; can also be configured to recall scene selection. * ong Push (>1s): Brightness level adjustment or colour tuning (colour tuning for DAI version only). otes: 1) Both the adjustment on App and push switch can overwrite each other, the last adjustment remains in memory. 2) The switch functions are configured in the App. 3) The push terminal may be left unconnected if no manual control is required. 2 Zero-cross Relay Operation (HC038V) zero-crossing point Designed into the software, the relay switches the load right at the zero-crossing point, to ensure that the in-rush current is minimised thus enabling the maximum lifetime of the relay. Alternating current TM Using HBT01 / HBT02 with Hytronik Hex-Drive Constant Current ED Drivers By simply connecting either HBT01 or HBT02 via the RJ12 connector, the ED driver is automatically enabled for control via the 4 mesh network. Once the HBT01 or HBT02 is connected to the Hex-drive TM ED driver, all other control inputs (i.e. DAI & 1-10V) are disabled and control of the ED driver resumes via the wireless network commands sent and received by HBT01 / HBT02. APP Setup: oad type When adding a HBT01/ HBT02 device with Hex-drive TM, ensure that load type of dimming only is selected to prevent unessarsary settings options appearing in the APP. Recommended minimum dimming evel; 1% If dimming is not required, please select switch type. The load settings may be changed at any time from the Device settings menu. Please refer to APP user guide for further information. 9 DAI Using HBT01 / HBT02 with Tunable White ED Driver Constant Current ED Driver Simply connecting either HBT01 or HBT02 via the RJ12 connector, the ED driver HHC2045/HHC2050 is automatically enabled for control via the 4 mesh network. Same as the Hex-drive TM, once the HBT01 or HBT02 is connected to the ED driver, the DAI control input on the driver is disabled, and control of the ED driver resumes via the wireless network commands sent and received by HBT01 / HBT02. All hardware features are as per the previous pages. APP Setup: oad type When adding a HBT01/ HBT02 device with HHC2045/HHC2050, ensure that load type of Color tuning & dimming is selected to enable the full functionailty from the APP. Recommended minimum dimming evel; 1% Color temperature range: Consult the lumianire technical manual to enter the correct range for accurate operation. The APP and ED driver can support the range of 2000K to 8000K and it suggested to allow this full range if the luminaire data is unavailable. The load settings may be changed at any time from the Device settings menu. Please refer to APP user guide for further information.
